  1. Ill fated Eve lander surrounded by the remains of 3 different rescue craft...
  2. I'm getting the same thing. I made a test rig to see if I could "utilize" the reactor a bit more (around 20 ion thrusters with a ton of reaction wheels which used around 245 EC/s) and no change in temp and no electric charge produced... pretty sure I'm derping here, but any advice to get them going would be awesome! BTW besides the reactor hiccup, this is quickly becoming my favorite mod!
  3. "The recovery team reports that another capsule has returned pilotless and filled with mystery goo."
  4. I had 2 die the other day from premature parachute deployment, then an accident during EVA sent Val retrograde with enough speed to deorbit her. She reentered and fell into the ocean with just a spacesuit and somehow survived! Just shows sometimes luck goes both ways.
  5. Just want to say a big THANK YOU! to Sarbian for all the hard work and all the hours you have put into getting this thing running right! Coneshot
  6. IMHO if you aren't viewing the KSC through your exhaust plume then something is amiss? If things look a bit off up close then launch something for a better view! ;-)
  7. My longest was over 22 hours with a double circumnavigation for the challenge: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/25884-Kerbin-Circumnavigation-Challenge-Reloaded-New-Rules-Once-More/page16?p=513822&viewfull=1#post513822
  8. I enjoy the science part of KSP, but I feel like the tech tree is still a bit predictable and linear. How about this: While exploring the Kerbol system, finds made while doing science can lead to new tech that wasn't previously in the tech tree. An example would be "DISCOVERY! While taking a surface sample on Duna, Jeb finds a new mineral Kerbtanium that makes possible new stronger lighter struts!" These discoveries could be kinda like the easer eggs, scattered and hidden throughout the system, or could be found through normal science. An added benefit would be to make it harder to fill in the tech tree with a couple of novelty missions. (I'm sorry Scott!) Just an idea.... Coneshot
  9. Patience, I love to micro manage a mission for hours of real time.. An example is my subsonic circumnavigation: http://http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/25884-Kerbin-Circumnavigation-Challenge-Reloaded-New-Rules-Once-More/page16?p=513822&viewfull=1#post513822
  10. There's plenty to do while you wait. As for me, I'm brushing up on basic skills and practicing rendezvous with objects on hyperbolic trajectories. I'm sending ships through Kerbin's SOI from Kerbol orbit and docking (or trying to dock) with them at different angles of approach. It's not as easy as it looks in some of the teaser videos lol!
  11. After finishing out my tech tree in career mode, Kerbin has more rings than Saturn! I'll admit to being really sloppy on this save, but in spite of the junkyard I have in orbit, I'm not seeing any effect on performance. (LKO looks like the beginning of the "Sing for absolution" video by Muse!)
  12. Great video Cupcake, really liked the perspective shots!
  13. Build a massive 800+ part ship and dock it to his station, when he goes near his framerate will drop to annoying if not unplayable levels (the same will happen to you while you do this but at least you'll know it's working!)
  14. LOL yeah, Danny2462 does that every other episode on youtube!https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8DIKwGU8wFZfk3Xi3-zcrQ
