JiWint replied to JiWint's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion

How do you get all these awesome ideas? I could use KAS mod to allow kerbals to do some bungee jumping... -
Send one to eeloo,so it can have a moon :3

How would you want to see life support handled?
JiWint replied to Tassyr's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Snacks only. That's why some capsules don't have any snacks, just some stickers about that -
the smaller the better (almost). Just slap 6 FL-T800s with 3 engines and fly

Rethinking Probes, Satellites, and Pods
JiWint replied to Whirligig Girl's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
life support? ohh just not the life support. You know why kerbals are green? They gain energy from photosynthesis.Water? What water -Evolution Though the idea with antennas are great, but 3 of them are pretty enough.Like the first one for the moons of kerbin, second one for duna to moho, and the last one to eeloo -
So I was looking at this one. Since I like to say everything in short, here we go: Replace the (pretty useless) ASAS ring (this one ) and make it a science unit? It could act as a material bay, just for larger ships! Also, why do we need two inline reaction wheels that act the same but one weighs more than other one?

I've crashed my rover for this. (Dres ravine)
JiWint replied to JiWint's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
oh thanks for the responses These screenshots were made with the lowest settings of ksp,so I wonder how would it look maxed-out (I can't currently do it with intel hd graphics 4600) Also, gravity there is really low,it took me a lot of time and timewarping to get my rover to there,so I'd recommend you guys to make somehow a heavy rover,if someone plans to go there P.S. Geschosskopf,I know what my next project will be... Edit: The flying rover project is not going to happen. Why? I am planning to build a base there *YEAAAAAHHHHHH* -

This may be boring for lots of people, and I have no idea why did I create this thread Maybe someone's interested in Dres ravine? Please note this was made with (almost) the lowest settings possible problem with imgur album solved,I had to remove #0 from the link.

So after a long time I decided to make a video. Since this was made on my old laptop, don't scream at me for weird graphics. Also I hate G+,so I quit using my youtube channel, thanks to my friend who gave me a hand here. Enjoy!

Rendezvous too fast, can't reach target.
JiWint replied to lizarddan's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I'm afraid the targets orbit is vice-versa-wise (like clockwise) -
make your apoapsis touch your target orbit.now the marker should be at apoapsis too. After several warps, you should see the "target location at closest point" should be behind the intercept point. Then make your periapsis higher.after you have like 20km between you and your target, switch to target speed, and burn to him. It's like racing.I finally got my new tower,I'll make a video about it.I will.

yap,I can see the mun flag, but the minmus one is gone
-
So again,I've built a huge big rocket that flied me to minmus.I've planted a flag there and flied away. After recovering the vessel,I switched to tracking station...and it shows that there's no flag at minmus :| I've spent 3 hours designing that rocket, had various adventures, and now there's no proof of it.Poor Bob,it was his first adventure. Anyway, where could the flag go? I was launching my lander back pretty far away from the flag,so it couldn't be the exhaust problem

watch your vertical speed at top bar.I usually survive at 10 (m/s?)

it's possible to dock without rcs,you know
