Have you tried turning on part clipping? That will allow you to put one inside the other. -

This is a thread to share pictures, or of course stories, of your very first mun landing. It's a moment of pride when you realize how awesome this game really is. So dig up those old pictures and show them off! This is my first Mun landing, back in August, September? Of course, ran out of fuel about 200 meters up, crash landed and only the pod survived. Unfortunately this is the only picture i took: Edit: I searched even deeper, and found my first landing in the DEMO! This is, of course, after about 5 times of crashing into the mun, and he never made it back So lets see yours!

I'm pretty sure that the mod is sortof broken for .23, as in it has alot of things not working. But some people have made small temproary fixes, i'll try to find one. Just an idea. Try getting into a low orbit, just above the atmosphere. Then lower your periapsis to about 10 km below the atmosphere. Even that 10 km will slow you down, lowering your Ap, which in turn will lower your Pe, and so on. You'll never experience extreme deceleration (i think). Hope this is usefull and good luck

It seems so, as long as the mod is accurate, although i have found that it takes a little more than 9000 delta-v to reach orbit, maybe because of FAR, or my launch procedure. I have a feeling it is accurate, although the atmospheric info may be a little of? Oh, and that map is of real-life, not RSS i'm pretty sure. -

Well i don't actually want to change the settings, they're fine for everything else, and i like it realistic. It's just that none of the heat-shields, except for a 2.5 meter one, can survive reentry. -

Well, I believe Soyuz is the name of the payload, but i think it is one with the lifter, as in they share a name. Haven't found a name for the lifter anywhere. Well, I thought I'd like to show off my RSS working Soyuz replica, with a replica launcher too Uses Novapunch, stretchy tanks, TAC life support, DRE, RSS, FAR, and a few parts from other mods Wasn't too sure about the top part of it, the part above the crew module of the soyuz, any comments? Unfortunatley, i also have deadly reentry (to make it more realistic), and i have been having a problem with reentry. The heatsheilds just burn up. Anyone have any good heatsheilds, or ways of reentering? And yes, Jeb can exit and enter the cockpit even with the clipping Any comments? -

Anyone else out there? *crickets* no? Well, i guess i'll show more of my own things My space station: Aldrin Space Station. Looking to expand with more modules, but need a crew transfer vehicle, which i have a peek at in this post All modules were launched with this launcher, still need a name for this: And my current Work in Progress: Any guesses? -
Well, everything was working fine yesterday. Now, my mods don't seem to be loading. I load the game, and the progress bar freezes halfway-ish on a mod. So, i exit, and delete the mod since it won't load. Then I reinstall the same mod. I load the game, the progress bar freezes halfway, with a different mod. First Kerbal Engineer Redux, then TAC life support, then stretchy tanks. I continued doing what i did. If i wait a while when the bar stops moving, the screen that normally has a picture goes away and turns black. Could it be actually loading, but the progress bar just doesn't work? I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas? Has this ever happened to anyone else? All my mods are up to date, with the latest version of them, and it worked fine yesterday. Thanks in advance

Oops, turns out i accidently had two installs. Now it works. But it seems i am having a problem that i didn't have yesterday. Everytime i load the game, it stops on a different mod, and doesn't load. I exit, delete that mod, reeinstall it, but then another mod doesn't work. So it's not actually a problem with this mod. This mod now works, or at least it would when the game loads I will continue my current strategy I'll ask my problem someplace else as it doesn't have to do with this mod annymore -

For some reason, this mod wont work. The download works fine, but when loading the game, it stops on Kerbal Engineer/flight chip I put it in game data. Anything i'm doing wrong, it worked before this mod updated? -

Start a new career mode. At first, it seems boring but then, you get all addicted because science Or try out a new mod. Make the game harder. Get RSS.
