  1. Does this new update dim stars only in stock, or does it work with custom skyboxes also such as, say, Universe Replacer?
  2. If anyone would be willing to take a request for a custom EVA suit, i have a simple request. Could someone make pretty much the same thing as the stock suit, but instead of all the red decals, make them a light-ish shade of green? (like a lime green) Thanks in advance if someone does this. I just want them for my RSS install
  3. Show off of anything Real Solar System related To begin: 1. If this is in the wrong subforum- feel free to move it, i am unsure as well 2. I realize there is already a forum for Real Solar System Launchers, if this seems too similar, mods feel free to merge or close 3. This is a exchange for anything Real Solar System by Nathankell related. This could include: Your ships, payloads, space stations, bases, textures, stories of your missions in Real solar system, or anything else related. 4. It doesn't matter if your ships/game contains any other mods 5. Feel free to post downloads for your ships. Personally, i don't use others ships, but if you want to, go ahead! I'll start off. This is my three Kerbals to LEO orbiter. Currently working on a docking version of it. The Hermes 1 Hope to see your creations!
  4. I don't know how to explain what i did today without a wall of pics So here goes: So this is my rocket i use to "train" Kerbs that have never flown before, a simple orbiter, with Bill as the teacher. Turns out, one of the Kerbanauts, Rodzor Kerman, was BadS like Jeb, so i decided to see how BadS he really is. Derping around in orbit The two trainees, training But then here came the test, how BadS was Rodzor really? It's a shooting star, or a ship on reentry Wait, that's no ship... It's Rodzor! (he's still not scared) FreeFalling Good thing i brought a chute Chute Deployed Almost there Conclusion: Rodzor is very much BadS Now, his next test is to swim back to KSC. Nope Meanwhile, Bill and Chadbus are pretty upset now that their pod is offbalance So thank Kod for KAS. That is what i have done today. Productive, hey
  5. Made it to Jupiter: First stop, either Io or Europa, not sure which.
  6. Hmm.... I think i'll try this this weekend. And we don't have to do a flyby of Duna, it can be any planet? Edit: Is docking before departure okay?
  7. I love how the one on the right saying oversize load isn't actually carrying anything. (Unless, what's in the box ?) And the on the left shouldn't say oversize load. That's not over sized. It's perfect! Any idea what this is for?
  8. The "coal" coming out of the rocket is actually just a bug with Kerbpaint. And i'm not sure why i didn't take any pictures of the debris field, it happened so fast and i was stunned that i had hit it. Pictures just weren't the first thing on my mind .
  9. I managed to accidentally crash into a ship in orbit, while i was suborbital...... Note: no kerbal were harmed in this accident, and a had quicksaved before, so i did managed a successful rendezvous after that. But the chances of a dead on suborbital collision,
  10. This is a ship i built for the challenge in my signature using every part for bonus points. Probably the craziest ship i've ever built. And P.S., the images for the first three posts aren't working It surprisingly flew quite nicely like this But needless to say it didn't make it too far... Thats about how far it got
  11. Yes, indeed, it is possible, but there was already a challenge for it. Not sure if anyone has entered in a while though: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/63762-Mid-Air-Refueling-Challange KAS makes it much easier
  12. As they say in my favorite movie: The most contagious thing is not a disease, but an idea. (props to whoever recognizes it ) I would agree. Although i don't usually download crafts, just because i usually only ever use a craft once for a mission, i think its fine to take ideas from people, as long as you says it's theirs. I personally take ideas from other people, and even if i don't try to, i sometimes do it unintentionally, just because it's stuck in my head.
  13. These low mass entries are making me feel over done, but if it's worth doing... It's worth overdoing. ANYways, i will be attempting the kethane version soon, but not to soon because... I have been inspired by this challenge, knowing how much fun it was. I downloaded the real solar system with planet factory planets, but 1/10 ish downscaled to be stockalike. Now i'm planning a Jupiter-4 mission. To Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. (p.s. : i'm going with a life support mod ) I know that this has nothing to do with the challenge, but i just wanted to say : Thanks for the awesome mission and inspiration.
  14. So i click the number/ letters on the screen, or on my keyboard like an action group?
  15. Pretty much me: Sandbox mode: Career Mode:
  16. Ba*dum tiss Can't wait to see this
  17. Could someone explain how to get the little IVA screens working? I've got the mod installed correctly, but all the screens are blank, with the numbers and such around the frame. (Yes, i looked at the FAQ's and only had one of the RPM.dll ) For example, could someone teach me how to: - Get a screen with the Navball - Get a screen with the docking port ( i believe that is this mod, if not, does Hymoto's mod have it?, i installed the one from the OP) - Get a screen showing the view from the external camera ( i think that's what they're for?) Other from those little blanks screens, it looks great!
  18. Whoa, nice job Leibniz. And you actually get more points than expected, as i assume you got into both Kerbin and Jool orbit, along with Laythe and Bop. So that would be (5+25+45+30)*2= 210+20(one launch)= 230+20 (borderline relevant)= 250+ 10 (two moons landed on)= 260. You can check that number and correct me if i'm wrong. Also, nice use of the Jet lander for Laythe, thats cool. And no struts? Wow! Congrats, you are added to the leaderboard as #1!
  19. Gilly: Where you get an apoasis with every step you take Gilly: Where when using an EVA pack, you need to make sure not to accidently get into orbit
  20. You'll need this too: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/66502-Kerbonov-Kn-2-Cockpit-Module
  21. Okay, nice entry Jasonden!, although i do have a few questions. As of now, i'm adding you to the leader board for 80 points. I got Kerbin orbit+ike landing, with a return, so (5+25)*2=60, with one launch so 60+20, which would make your total 80? I'm not sure if you did the boderline relevant achievment, or any others, so if you need me to update your score with something i missed, just tell me. You have been added to the leaderboard as #3, with 80 points. Congrats!
