  1. Have this problem from time to time, switching to spacecenter and back helps.
  2. Top up last booster stage and use that for transfer burn. This usually means Skipper or Poodle. If I were to use Nerv, I'd pull AP to some decent height, cirularize, top up again and do transfer burn from there. It may not be most efficient, but navigating tanker ships around Kerbin system is trival, while dealing with long burns in LKO is not.
  3. Are you using Eva struts mod? I had similar problem with it.
  4. That explains a lot about stuff on internet tubes nowadays.
  5. Yeah, let's hope it is just closed for spring cleanup.
  6. From what I know about Elons naming scheme, it's more likely to be Cargo Cult or Prime Mover.
  7. More then ISS, the "slap solar everywhere" engineering reminds me of good ol' Mir.
  8. Training is stored in saves/training: Maybe you cleared old saves too vigorously? Steam repair should refetch them. This is not THAT kind of game. Unless you have a degree in orbital mechanics, get any information you can. Seriously.
  9. Well, I used to have KDE app for almost everything. K3B was king of burning, but I do not even have optical drive today. Kopete for best IM features - now dead of neglect. Amarok ruled the music until it bloated to bugged uselessness. KMail was absolutely best mail app I have ever used, now I have to use Thunderbird. Ugh :-( Konqueror was wonderfull handle to everything for which ther was KIO. Now unburried dead. So is KDM, kuickshow, basket… do I have to continue? I am quite happy with Plasma, but can't honestly call it "KDE desktop" anymore.
  10. My first anime: Akira. Second: Ghost in the Shell. Everything after that felt like step down :-( Well, there is Ghibli stuff, but that is rather monothematic.
  11. Biggest thing about Crysis & co. was ability to render big terrain. Tech4 (engine behind Doom 3) could only do small scenes, but with light effects way above anything I have ever seen. Which one is better? Engine powering Arma games have several incredibly advanced features that are simply lost on average Joe - is sea waves simulation "better graphics"? It certainly add more realistic feeling then another milion rendered polygons. Yes, Skyrim have better graphics, but Oblivion looks better in my book. But if you wan to see some realy good TES, get Morrowind. "Graphics" is laughable, but art is astounding… Whatever engine you fancy may be blown out of water tomorrow, while looks of Dwarf Fortress will never get old.
  12. Yeah, KDE is the king of customizability. Back in the day, I could spend hours in kcontrolcenter, tweaking every bit to my maximum liking. But it seems to me slowly withering away since good ol' 3.x days. @steve_v I never suspected there are so many fellow Gentooists around here.
  13. Savvy linux guy just install stuff on disk and does not waste time with several layers of legacy crap invoved with USB bootables. Seriously, this is about most complicated boot process one can have. Anyway, is it really really necessary to use Mint? There are specialized distros for this.
  14. So the rumors are true, there ARE people who like Gnome 3.
  15. @Phil deCube I am afraid you are wrong. I just managed to get very simple "test at launch pad" contract and it definitely spams.
  16. Now this is first good news regarding this bug. I have only one such contract left…
  17. Cool down man. Yeah, 1.4.2 is a wreck, but it's a multiplatform wreck - it bombs on all platforms :-) Only serious linux specific issue I have is that game ignores window size enforced by window manager and gets confused until I resize it. And that is still better then how older versions handled it.
  18. If it's any help, quit to main menu will make most of those messages go away.
  19. Looks like new message is spawned whenever one or more contract conditions is triggered. So, landing on Mun triggered "Build new outpost that has antenna, docking port and can generate power", visiting space station triggers crew space conditions, just doing nothing trigges "maintain stability"… Got a few mods, but none that should touch contracts.
  20. https://imgur.com/a/V1zMd Looks like it, but certainly not in debug log. These look like triggered by 10 second stability, but I've also noticed "contract finished" one for contract that is most certainly not finished. Also, it seems that only two surface base contracts trigger this. I don't have other base contracts, but some "plant flag" and "rescue" and those kept quiet. Both of those basebuilding contracts are from 1.4.1.
  21. After upgrading to 1.4.2 I get lots of spammy "Control Parameter Complete" messages. Anyone seen this?
