  2. Hello, i have a problem. The FTL-Mod is installed and i can use the parts. But, when i right-klick FTL-parts there is no mod-specific option. I can not start a beacon or do anything on a FTL-drive. I used older versions of this mod with great succes but i cant find the problem now. i use both latest versions of KSP and FTL. But i use some more part-mods. Could there be a conflict?

  4. sorry if this was mentioned before: The "R4-D Rontgen" Engine says in its description that it can function in non-oxygenated atmospheres. But why does it still need Intake Air? Is it for balancing reasons?
  5. Thank you again for the quick reply earlier today. No major problems anymore with the last patch, great. While the stock-wheels "work", the Foundrie-Wheels sadly just float through the models.
  6. Is there a bugfix out now? Constantly, Ships explode after loading from quicksave or tracking station. Or, even better, out of the blue, the heatshield colides into the pod. And everytime comes the cause "ModuleWaterSlider collided into... <something>" Very very strange because i didn't even started to use "Kerbal Foundries"-Parts on my Career yet. If i delete the mod, everything is fine. :/ The only solution right now is using Alt-F12 and cheating. I read that this is part of the hover-parts, but deleting only them makes no difference because the code is in the plugin. Maybe you can make a seperate download without the hover-features?

  8. Hi, i am aware of the many possibilities out there to create a nice vehicle and put a rover in. But all of them need some work. There are the stock parts, the LLL-Mod, with awesome parts, and there is the Mk4-Plane-Mod, also great. But afterall, i am just searching for a box to put a (also a big) rover in, and don't need to think about landerlegs that break of or melt on reentry or how to get a rover out of a cargobay that is 5m in the air, because there are no ramps. Can you give me a advise for a mod that is out there? Thank you.
  9. I want to add something important here. use control surfaces / winglets. Especially while the gravity turn is a bit hard, the wings help drasticly to keep control.
  10. @smjjames and @Red Iron Crown Thank you for the info with the sea level. My problem is just the fact that i never noticed that before. I find it strange because never before i had a rocket on the pad that had not enough TWR to lift off. Has this something to do with changed engines in v1.0?
  11. The surface TWR in the "Vessel Info" For example i have a craft in the vab: mass 15,32t surface twr 4,32 on the pad: mass 15,32t surface twr 3,79
  12. just a quick question. is there a workaround of the wrong TWR-info in the VAB? When i got to launchpad, the TWR of the craft sinks extremly. Looks like there is wrong data displayed when in VAB

  14. well, all this bubble-theory does not work for me. How can it be that while i attach 4 radial chutes on a pod, nearly 1m above the service bay, some chutes work, some don't? Does the bubble moves freely around the bay? They need to fix this because it kind of ruins the experiance of free ship buidling.
  15. the thing is, your items can be anywhere near the bay and have a failure. I attachend 2 tanks radialy and added the big chutes on the tanks. It failed.
  16. The problem are the cargoholds. the "protected" area seems to be too big or is somehow calculated wrong. If you open the cargohold, the "stowed" problem is gone. Not the best way to work around this. ^^
  17. to counter the drag on the top you should add controlfins at the bottom. And of course you should build your fairings as streamline as possible.
  18. I find that the new heatshields do not protect your craft enough. I added a retractable ladder on my shielded 2,5m lander pod. this thing just explodes in reentry - great. Ok, i tried somethings with fairings. Didn't the Devs hinted that fairings can be used as heatshields? i put a 2,5m heatshield and a 2,5m fairngbase under my pod. The fairings are extended around the lander. In reentry, the effects are great on the fairngs. And in the craft, temps are good. But *boom* the fairngbase explodes because of heat. Come on! How could you ever build complex landers when the heatshilds are to small, don't protect even a covered ladder and farings seems to do nothing... ? ahh, and i also have problems with "stowed" items that won't activate. Not nice!
  19. Hi. Even in earlier versions, i never did scan contractss where you have to fly to specific areas. Now with 1.0, i tried my first VIP-Mission. Bring a Tourist to a specific destination. I have the bought the first tracking station upgrade. There, i can see all the destinations for active or possible contracts. But now i am in my plane and i see nothing on my map. How do i see where to go?? i am a bit lost. Do i need the full upgraded tracking center to see that in flight? Edit: Just saw that i activated the wrong contract. I have to do a suborbital flight. I can't find a delete option here so just an edit.
  20. This is not a new bug. Had that a few times over the last versions. It's rare and i can't reproduce it. Has something to do how you place your clamps and some unknown effect while loading the craft.
  21. let's be honest, there were 3 streamers on till now. Noone had any real clue whats new, what you can do now, what the new features are. I understand that there will be many more hours to whatch but i feel i wasted a lot of time because the new preview-videos just showed the same stuff and even more.
  22. have you seen how much energy you need to upkeep mining or refining? If there is no new big RTG you will need a lot of effort to run the operation.
