Is it possible to give Kerbals more friction so they don't skid for minutes after falling? Being able to use RCS in ragdoll mode would be useful too.

Noooo! But skidding is kerbal! It should be left in the game!

Nah, I'm kidding, I'd love to see a mod that fixes this infuriating bug.

Being able to use RCS in ragdoll would be great. I've tried many times to toggle RCS to wake them up after ragdolling after I smacked into something or I'm trying to use RCS to stop a slide down a slope.
