EVE works fine, no packs required.

Well, it says its for 0.24 in release thread so i thought its wont work with newest version.

no, it works fine. There's nothing that can break it. Except planetshine, that breaks the city lights.

Next time you run into this problem just try it. Just don't do it in your active career but instead use a fresh sandbox. If a mod doesn't work simply remove it. Nothing gained, nothing lost.

? I'm running EVE and Planetshine and I still get city lights.

It works fine for some people. If your game keeps crashing, remove EVE and see if it continues.
