My game always crashes when putting a fairing

Well hey guys I’m new to then forum my English is not that good at all but I know how to defend myself, anyway the problem is that every time I put a fairing in one of my rockets the game will close or crash, I don’t know why but this is really annoying and I am looking for a solution so hope you could help.

and what version of ksp are you using, 32 or 64 bit?
