Sandbox copy?

Is it possible to save a spacecraft built in the VAB in career mode over to sandbox mode?  I'd like to test some of my creations before putting career kerbals into harms' way ...

Absolutely.  The craft you made in your career mode is saved in the VAB folder inside the save.  You need to have the sandbox save already created.

        Kerbal Space Program / saves / {savename} / Ships / VAB / {nameofcraft}.craft

Simply copy that craft file from your career save to your sandbox save.  You can even do this without re-loading the game.  The game will scan the folder every time you click the button to open a ship in the VAB/SPH.
