interstellar mod tech tree

I just installed interstellar mod because I was bored with vanilla, but now that I've installed it I seem to be missing the bottom branch of the tech tree from "recycling" and "Storage technology" onward. Are they placeholders or are they supposed to be there?

First of all, have you installed the mod and all dependencies correctly?

I have the latest version of KSPIE installed properly according to the guide. nothing else was mentioned about dependencies, cannot find the base version. tried searching the forum

When CRP is not installed, KSPIE will add the missing CRP  technodes which are required to play KSPIE. Technodes like "recycling" that aren't used by KSPIE will therefore not be added
