Missing Navigational Markers

When I first started playing when doing missions I could see navigational markers on my nav ball as mentioned in https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Navigation_marks.  Now I dont ever see them.  Did I turn them off somehow?

In the regular game, outside of any missions or the training tutorials, you need to explicitly turn on the navigation markers on the navball by clicking on the teardrop markers in the mapview, shown on the wiki-page you linked, and selecting 'Activate Navigation'.
If some missions you played earlier turn them on for you, not all missions will.

Yep, I do the activate navigation
