Reentry effects

So I’ve heard about some setting in the game files where you can make the reentry effects much cooler. Can someone help me find that, and figure out how to change it?

I don’t know about the game files, but there’s the Re-entry Particle Effect mod that activates some built-in but inactive stock re-entry effects- a plasma trail and some sparks. Maybe that’s what you’re after?
