Many of us now own land on Kerbin. In fact, there is no room left for the rest of you.

But now comes a true test at your worth of owning a nation:

Arrive there safely.

Be it by spaceplane, orbiter, or lander, arrive in your country and point out your approximate location on a map!

This comes from the olden days of earth exploration, where Columbus or other explorers went to new lands, planted a flag, and claimed them for their country. Of course, back then there was no orbital mapping so they really were discovering completely unknown land... and being total jack...things in the process of saying the people already there had no claim.

Given that both marking up the orbital view and landing there are equally silly ways of saying you own something, why not? I will begin by landing in the middle of Makavi and claiming it for the People! (dunno if you keep up with such things, my RP thread is that there\'s a populist rebel group that wants to overthrow all the governments and considers them all illigitimate oppressors.)

That is, I will do so as soon as the rebellion has assembled a working launcher. I\'m waiting for the sleeper agents in various organizations to supply me with parts.

I didn\'t like all the land ownership stuff, but decided to fight it through RP of a socialist rebellion instead of just ignore it or complain about it. I decided it would also be against all the fancy titles and such that people were making up for themselves. But since this challenge has a huge crossover into the roleplay threads, let\'s go with the RP response...
