Make kerbals grow beards during extended flights.

in a sea of serious suggestions its time for something a bit more silly. i decided kerbals need to have beard if they have been in space too long. capsule fever and such.

Some indication of how long a Kerbal has been in space would be nice, and something we don't have now. Doesn't necessarily have to be a beard, could be the green color fading over time.

Some of the little dudes I've left on extended jaunts in space would pretty much have the whole capsule filled with beard.

Not a bad idea, actually. I also don't think it will be implemented but it is nice to imagine. Especially since I ran a mission which took Jeb 4000+ days not too long ago, I guess his helmet would be impenetrably full of his beard at the end

Mental health already has been declined and i agree that is not neccessary, but beards would be funny, yes! Or maybe they turn more blue due to constant radiation... Something to see the badass long space experience in a kerbals bulby eyes... I like that!

cosmetic changes would be neat. beards for time spent in space, spots for radiation near the sun, turning orange for high g-loads, turning white for letting jeb fly. ya know.

Actually, visual feedback would be great. Purple when some of them get space sickness too.

Actually a medical status panel would be great for mission control. For example you have to bring them in from a space walk if they are doing a Dr Stone.

In general i find it nice to actually see, that you deal with an experienced spacetoughend kerbal. But this should for sure not end in IVA views with kerbals running through the rainbow spectrum...

I think it'd be hilarious to have something like this. I appreciate that this would take some serious work, though. Maybe there's another solution, one that indicates that a Kerbal has been on a mission for a while in a way that is humorous.
