Arado-234 Jet Bomber (V7 and V9 versions)

Recommended Posts

The Arado Ar 234 was the world's first operational jet-powered bomber, built by the German Arado company in the closing stages of World War II. Produced in very limited numbers, it was used almost entirely in the reconnaissance role, but in its few uses as a bomber it proved to be nearly impossible to intercept. It was the last Luftwaffe aircraft to fly over Britain during the war, in April 1945.

The V-7 version is equipped with a take off dolly and landing skids. Landing on these skids are proven to be difficult, but it is possible. (test yourselves) The V-9 version is equipped with tricycle landing gears and a single bomb attached to its fuselage. The V-7 (skid landing gear) version is proven to be more efficient and lighter than the V-9 version. Although it is not able to take off again. (I will try to work on a reusable dolly for the V-7)

-V-7 Landing gear: 0.6425 Tons, 0.6 drag

-V-9 Landing gear: 1.66 tons, 1 - 1.3 drag

ACTION GROUPS

1- Taxi mode on/off (front nose landing gear, toggle steering on/off) (Does not apply for the V-7)

2- Cockpit light on/off

Ok, I just tested this out, you CANNOT land the Arado 234 V-7 anywhere besides the runway(s). It is possible to land at the island runway though.

1. Install craft

2. Open file explorer (the folder where all your downloads are)

3. You should see the craft file in your download tab

4. Drag it into your ksp folder

5. Drag it into your "My Saves" folder

6. Drag it into your desired save file

7. Drag it into the SPH folder

8. Done, Open KSP and you should see it in your saves.

It's really not hard, just drag a file a couple of times.
