Martian atmosphere indeed doesn't do much against harmful radiation. I think I must have been half asleep when I was writing that post, radiation difference is indeed due to absence of Jupiter. Water on Mars is very much a thing though, but I was referring mostly to the poles. There's a lot of water ice on the north and south pole (it's under a layer of carbondioxide ice on the south pole, but pretty exposed on the north pole) and in craters and other (permanently) shaded areas in more temperate regions. Transient liquid and subsurface water is indeed unproven, that's why I added the "possibly". And of course "transient" doesn't mean you'll have lakes or rives, but rather you'll have a very, very small stream which will last for a minute or two tops before it evaporates. But there's more water on Mars than you might suspect. Just not liquid.

granted. The port permanently breaks the game. I wish for a glass filled with potable water. (i'm not asking for a glass of water because I know what you guys will do with that one )

7-8/10. Definitely seen you around the place.

Oh man... While this is great news, I can't help but grit my teeth at the fact that we're constantly finding stuff that alludes to the *possibility* of microbiological life -past or present- but never any conclusive proof. I love these new discoveries, don't get me wrong, I LOVE that NASA is finding this stuff all the time and I have the utmost respect for all the scientists and engineers who work tirelessly on these experiments. But I really wish that one of these days, we'd get one experiment where they go "weeeeeellll... This could be from another source than life (the possibility is always there, no matter how small) but really, this is more than likely life." ah well, keep on dreaming, hoping and waiting I guess...

Mars is a far better prospect for colonization I think. Mars is a a looooot closer than Jupiter, receives less radiation thanks to its atmosphere, also has a lot of frozen water (and possibly liquid subsurface), has an actual soil which can be used to grow plants in greenhouses (martian soil isn't that different from earth soil. somewhat different pH, but that's mostly it if I recall correctly), is a lot warmer than Ganymede (still really freaking cold but at least we're talking about -50°C or something rather than -100°C on Ganymede), etc. One big one is as the availability of water as well. Yes, Ganymede has a ton of water, but it's also under a 100km thick crust of ice and rock. Mars has frozen water (and possibly transient liquid water) on its surface. Far easier to get to. So yeah, Ganymede might be okay for an outpost if ever technology gets to that point, but not much more I think.

Nope. RainDreamer, you there?
-
granted. You die in a freak accident one hour after said wish is granted. I wish to be one of the richest people on the planet (there's no way this can go wrong, right? )
-
I dump a massive mound of earth next to the spawn zone and proceed to snipe anyone and anything near it using the high-ground advantage. My hill and adjacent spawnzone.

banned for not being expialidocious.

That's even worse! CHEATER! (also, well played good sir/madam. Well played. *slowclap*)
-
Figures. Only a cheater would use binary in his/her signature.
-
your wish is granted by you not getting a paradox. Which means it isn't granted. (It think that works? paradoxes are hard.) I wish for the color blue.
-
banned for claiming to be a rocketeer while having a space shuttle for an avatar.
-

Granted. Please enjoy your only-slightly-used B-25 CAT telephone. ... That IS what you were referring to, right? I wish for a powerful and functional top-of-the-line gaming PC to run all my favorite games on.
-
Banned for not eating, sleeping or raving. You got the repeat part right though.

oh it STARTS with a plan alright. And then it turns out that the plan is missing key components. Or that it simply can't be done. Or after a second look I decide it looks stupid. And tehn the madness begins...

Granted, stock revamp becoming stock causes stock-ception, imploding all stock into a stock-singularity and permanently breaking the game. I wish humans would become inter-planetary and NOT kill themselves in the process.

KSP Has taught me more about life than life itself has.
Cirocco replied to Kozak's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Even though you'll never achieve perfection, that doesn't mean you shouldn't strive to achieve it. also, nothing is impossible unless it is actually physically proven to be impossible. Never tell yourself something is 'impossible" when it actually means "really hard, but achievable through hard work and determination". -
Not yet, but she may be now?
-
5/10? Seen the name thrown around here and there.
-
Not yet. I've built an Eve return vehicle able to get back to orbit from sea level, but for some reason the Joolian system scares me. Mostly because I fear I'll be stranded without fuel. I'll probably send a lot of missions there once resource mining hits in 1.0 and I can get fuel in situ. The person below me regularly watches e-sports matches.

google informs me that an Aries A3 is a surround sound system. Therefore your wish is granted, but you forgot to pack any music, peripherals, power cords, power adaptors, cables or anything else so it is completely non-functional. I wish to be immortalized in history for doing something totally awesome.
