  1. Bought it from Steam and have installed the 1.1 pre-release.
  2. The first time i managed to get into orbit around, i didn't have enought fule to land. So, I decided to return to Kerbin. I had no idea how to do it, so I did it by trial and error. A small burn here and there. No fule left, but my orbit was very close to Kerbin, so I fastforwarded until I was at the closest point to Kerbin and got a gravity assist from the Mun. Then I got into a very exentric orbit around Kerbin with periapsis just touching the atmosphere. 8 hours later (irl at maximum fastforwarding), I landed at Kerbin. My most boring mission, but somehow it felt good. And no, I didn't sit by my computer wating the entire time.
  3. HDD for KSP, other games and programs, SSD for windows.
  4. It's done! No landings on either Mun nor Minimus, just flybys and a bit of science from contracts. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197974241235/screenshot/634230638849315962

    Hello

Hi, and welcome to the forums!
  6. Welcome and good luck with the mission to Jool!
  7. Welcome to the forums! Remember to collect science from KSC. Every building has science to collect (including launch pad and runway). Just land at it or near it.
  8. 273 h according to steam. Some missions have been several hours when the fuel runs out and apoapsis is several million meters above Kerbin and periapsis in the upper athmosphere. I've been playing sice the version before Sqad changed the apperance of KSC (0.18??).
  9. The number 0 is wierd. It represent "nothing", but still it can be expressed as the sum of all other numbers: 1+(-1)+2+(-2)+pi+(-pi)...n+(-n)
  10. Thank you! It's the solar panels! I'm only using the tiny panels and only 1-2 panels facing the sun. I'll try a new design with unfoldable panels.
  11. I have a satellite in equatorial orbit scanning for kethane. It has four batteries and four solar panels, but the batteries do not recharge, so I can't activate RCS to change inclination or even the main engine to do a reentry burn.
  12. I will probably use them to transport cargo to orbit. Small satellites and spacestation parts.
  13. Hi, DanLarn and welcom to the forums! On curse.com you can see wich mods have been most downloaded: http://www.curse.com/ksp-mods/kerbal?filter-project-sort=5 You can also look in the mod section of this forum. Many of the popular mods are on the first page. The mods I'm using are: Ferram Aerospace Interstellar mod (Part mod) B9 Aerospace (Part mod) KW Rocketry (Part mod) MechJeb Mods that add parts can make the game run out of memory, so try adding one mod at a time and look in the task manager. (The limit for 32-bit KSP is 3.2GB RAM). 64-bit doesn't have this limitation but it can be buggy.
  14. I'm on the Hypeâ„¢ Trainâ„¢ to Hyperspaceâ„¢.
  15. Are you using the 0.23 version of interstellar? The 64-bit of KSP have some bugs, use 32-bit instead. Here's the latest (unofficial) update by WaveFunctionP, works with 0.24.2 32-bit: https://github.com/WaveFunctionP/KSPInterstellar/releases I'd recommend using a texture compression mod if you have other part mods too.
