So while all the other people build shuttles with .90, I do something a little different... http://imgur.com/a/UlNI7 It is an exploration rover with a small rover inside. http://imgur.com/a/Gyo1o The larger rover contains a briefing room, some science experiments, and a Mk3 Crew Cabin for all your Kerbal transporting needs! The smaller rover is actually quite stable on solid ground. It can stay on all 4 wheels even when turning as hard as possible. However, it will flip over if you drive off the ramp wrong. Happy Roving!

The purpose of the Arion was to test if I could build an SSTO. I didn't. However, the little rockomax engines on the back worked pretty well as a boost, like afterburners on a fighter jet. This is how the first test flight went, due to my utter ineptitude at flying and landing a plane. Just going out for a test flight of the Arion Mk 2 with my friend Genesby Kerman! The Arion is supposed to be an SSTO. However, I only got to 14,000m before I ran out of fuel on the rocket engines. Well, now it's going to be an SSTC (Single Stage To Continent). Ok, running low on jet fuel as I finally spot a coast in the distance. Land ho! We won't run out of fuel over the ocean. Now be careful with the landing, Genesby. Be gentle. Gentle! GENTLE! Oh no... So everything but the pilot and copilot cabins have been destroyed. Oh, joy. He seems pretty indifferent about the whole thing considering I said I'd rescue him "When I get around to it"

Just had a few a couple of minutes ago. So I have just installed MechJeb to compensate for my utter incompetence in getting to orbit and rendevousing. Launched my space station core with no difficulties to an 80km orbit, so I tried my power station next. I turn on complete auto pilot to my specifications, and walk away to read a book for a while. I come back a bit later and find my entire power station rocket plummeting through the atmosphere. Crap, I must have forgotten static solar panels, so the probe core ran out of charge. So I put some static panels on and launch in the middle of the night. There was much facepalming. So I finally think I've solved the problem by launching in the daytime. I launch it, turn it over to MechJeb, and it does the exact same thing. There were many baffled, confused, and irate looks given to my computer screen. "MechJeb autopilot used to work. Then it took a very large power station to the knee." (Yes, I play skyrim) -
This is from when I crashed my failed Arion Mk2 SSTO. See the full post here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/32027-You-Will-Not-Go-To-Space-Today-Post-your-fails-here!?p=1640559#post1640559 Edit: I quite like the look of that program for drawing the images Upsilon, but I also really like your pencil drawings. I'm indecisive, can you tell?

Yeah, sorry. I meant the mobile phone version, not the upcoming computer version as I don't have the details on that. By the way the AoE: Castle Siege review on Reddit that was a positive review said "you have to look beyond the title". It then went on to explain that it really wasn't an AoE game.

Okay. To start off, these are my opinions, nothing but opinions. Your opinions may be different. And probably are. Now, to business. You may have heard of the series called Age of Empires. Age of Empires 2 was great. Age of Empires 3 was awesome. And Age of Mythology is my favorite game of all time. And then along came the new game. Age of Empires: Castle Siege. It wasn't an AOE game. It was a free-to-play Windows 8 and Windows Phone exclusive that was riddled with micro-transactions and a clone of Clash of Clans. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with Clash of Clans, but Clash of Clans is certainly not an AOE game. It is riddled with micro-transactions that are nearly imperative to gameplay if you want to progress in a sane amount of time. If you don't pay, you face ridiculous loading times to wait for. I quote a review that expresses this clearly: "The only question about Age of Empires: Castle Siege is whether to waste your time or your money." http://www.tomsguide.com/us/age-of-empires-castle-siege,review-2381.html And the worst part of it was that we saw it coming. We saw this kind of thing in Dungeon Keeper from EA, and in Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 from Atari, both games that had great games previous to their new releases. I am a longtime player of Age of Empires, but Age of Empires: Castle Siege broke something no other crappy game has done before. It broke my heart.

I really like these. They all look so sleek and futuristic! ... there is just something about them that makes me really like them! And on top of all that, you have made them useful as well! +1 rep
-
That is awesome! I just saw interstellar recently! Really nice replica. ... Of course now you must make the airlock blow up
-
Does anyone else want to give input on this?

I've been thinking about adding command seats, but I just can't seem to get the right look with them. And thanks for the feedback!

This is called the Bellerophon Paratrooper Jet. This is it. It contains some paratrooper cabins, as shown here. The cargo bay isn't actually supposed to open, as they would jump out the back, but it's useful for when those kerbals start acting up. This shows the wing and the engines attached to it. Nothing fun to see here, move along. This is the top view. It looks a bit like a stubby C-130. Sorta. Full speed ahead! Oh. Um, crap. That is going to be... ... bad. So yeah, takeoff is a bit finicky at times. But at least the explosion was pretty! Thanks .25! Well, lets do that again. Turning on SAS this time. Jonlie, Kirrim and Richald look absolutely terrified. Yes! Takeoff! And now a nice pretty shot of the plane and the islands in the distance.

That is pretty cool! It sure beats out any plane I have made. -
Sorry to bump an old thread, but this is amazing! I really liked this series and hope it continues.

This is awesome! I love the idea of a hovering carrier, especially because I watched Captain America Winter Soldier last night

There are too many designs of mine that serve absolutely no purpose it's disgraceful. I'll see if I can rustle up some of my worst designs.

Poll: Kerbal Space Program's Mun Landers
Cobalt60 replied to AncientAstronaut's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Hello! So, you have probably been to the Mun, right? I have found that the Mun landing ships are ones that are looked over sometimes by people who are more interested in planetary landers. they might say: "Oh, making a Mun vessel is easy". But I think getting to the Mun takes a special ship, and here is where you could post those awesome ships of yours. -

I have a rover for that Delta II somewhere buried in the forums. They are all stock. All hail Spirit and opportunity! -
I would have to say either Zoo Tycoon 2, or possibly Age of Mythology.
