  1. Ok, today has been spent doing various tasks including grading mid-terms. The mid-term was valued at 100 points; today I actually had a student score a perfect 0/100 AND misspelled their name on the exam. Incredible.

  2. Congratulations for making a Facebook Page appearance with your car man!

They don't notify anyone, so when I see someone's craft I know I usually try to let them know.

      Very nice build!

My wife worked from home once and it was more productive due to the lack of coworkers constantly interrupting with their gossip and needs.

  5. Ok, two nights ago I created a Pandora channel with music from the 1970s - Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon and Garfunkel, Harry Chapin, the Eagles, ABBA, Earth, Wind, and Fire, and a few others... Man, compared to the music today, I really think the younger generations are missing out on what real music sounds like - without the auto-tune and special effects music.

So I'm sailing for tomorrow my dreams are a-dyin'
And my love is an anchor tied to you (tied with a silver chain)
I have my ship and all her flags are a-flyin'
She is all that I have left and music is her name

  6. Could I possibly trouble you for some advice on which video capture and editing software you use?  I don't wish to buy anything, I use stuff like GIMP and Blender freeware...  but I don't have anything for capturing and editing videos and/or animated gifs?

  7. Well, it's been a busy day.

I applied for an on-line instructor position at a East Coast university (for certain reasons, I cannot say which one). Anyhow, one of the things that was recommended is to set up a web page so that if hired, students could visit and get a good idea of my interests, hobbies, and the kinds of things I do in my spare time. With that said, I've set one up and immediately knew what I wanted the url to be: www.adsii1970.us.

It's not much, but I think it does a pretty good job of explaining, if possible, who I am...

I'll gladly take recommendations from y'all if I thik they will make it better...

I like it!! If anything I would try a few different Bold Type Fonts on the title just to see what it looks like. Other than that all looks good to me!

  8. I found him! Your grandfather, S/Sgt Lee G. Castille, #14058957, was a member of the crew of B-24D-10-CO Liberator Serial Number 41-23875, 5th Air Force, 90th Bomb Group, 400th Bomb Squadron, when it crashed.

"On December 26, 1942 took off from Iron Range Airfield (Lockhart River) from Gordons runway at approximately 10:00pm. During take off, this B-24 clipped the trees causing it to crash into the side of the runway narrowly missing one of the anti-aircraft gun emplacements manned by "E" Battery of the 197th Coastal Artillery (AA) Regiment. On impact, the entire crew with the exception of Yeilding was killed in impact and the bomb load aboard exploded causing a large fire."

I don't like using mods other than visual or help information, blue print views, cameras, kerbal engineering, take command is nice for adding kerbals to craft. I do agree hyper edit takes out all the fun! I am not sure about rivers on Laythe, I have some old pictures I can look at and tell you asap.

I just looked at those Laythe pictures and some pictures of Eve and neither are showing enough of the planet to see if there are any rivers. Eve has so many Islands it should be hard to find the distance you would like. I may try connecting the airbase island to the island next to it one day.

typo*** it shouldn't be hard to find the distance you would like.

I thought you would be using Hyper Edit, but hey whatever works for you. If you need another idea you could try rockets and parachutes to get you close to the location you want.

After I finish Space Dock 7 and Energy Source I may give this river location a try. I would still like to see my steamboat on the river one day too.

  15. Why is it Vall has no texture, its blank. i have videos i wasnt happy with i had ships in orbit around. I honestly never landed there then i goes down to this grey void with rocks expecting textures to appear at.some.point.

Ty for the feedback youre right the vid esp redwing, the music has a tone that isnt really ..

Have you some video i shall see. have a drive with the Ion bike from the octo sometime with your background music. Mun

      Castille7

I do not know why Vall has no texture, I have not went there yet, I have only went to the Mun, Minmus, Laythe, Eve, Duna, Jool & Eeloo. I traveled in space for a while then started working on lots of VTOL & Dropship Craft.

I will try our Ion bike soon.

The Eagle has no Mods I have been using only stock for a long time now. Also I have not tried 1.1 yet I will soon.
