  1. I'm sorry, that's going to take some explaining. I like maths, but that's a little confusing.
  2. Now I know KSP does not work in the same way as real life; there are not Lagrangian points. But, let's talk theoretically. Let's say that KSP functions in the same way as the real solar system, and Lagrangian points are permitted to exist. What altitudes would they sit at in the system? Kerbin is smaller than Earth, would this affect the position of the points? As well as this, Kerbin has two moons, would that affect the Lagrangian points in the Kerbin system? It'd be interesting to know what you think!
  3. Improved visuals on planets. Don't get me wrong, they're beautiful, but about 70-80% of kerbin all looks the same. Thick forests, vast marshlands, mountainous valleys, etc. would all improve the impressiveness of the game. It's not that the planets are ugly, they just look plain.
  4. Moho has always been difficult-looking...
  5. I noticed your signature - might I ask what it is about the partnership you object to?
  6. It always makes the game feel 1000x more enjoyable when it gets smoother! It's around those times that I end up playing all night...
  7. Ah well, I'm going to keep trying. I'll definitely try using docking controls, I'd never thought of that... Out of interest, what is the best design for low gravity bodies? I love rovers but designing them isn't my expertise!
  8. YES. No matter where I'm coming in from, or from whatever inclination, it's always in the way!
  9. I swear there's something fishy on Minmus that is determined to ruin everything... Particularly rovers. I couldn't begin to explain the amount of rovers I've had flip over because of the low gravity. Am I just designing them wrong? Does Minmus not feel comfortable with the concept of wheels?
  10. Yeesh, sounds like hell... Never tried going to Moho. Or Dres. Or Jool for that matter...
  11. I know this seems superstitious and sounds like I'm crazy, but I'm convinced that Minmus is cursed or something. Every mission I send there goes wrong. Satellites stop working, Kerbals die, rovers don't function properly. It's like Minmus is just out to get me, like it enjoys my failure. I swear it's cursed or something. Because naturally, being a person who believes strongly in science, it simply cannot be that I am inept at flying rockets, Minmus must be cursed! So I was curious, what are your cursed places (if you have any that is )? Places where no matter how many missions you send there, they all end up going wrong. If you do, the. What was your most disastrous mission to said place?
  12. I don't suppose you know the name of that mod do you? It will definitely come in handy...
  13. Darn. What do you think would need to be the very least amount of DeltaV necessary to visit each planet?
  14. In the past ten seconds I've had a thought. Has been in a position in which most, if not all, of the planets in the Kerbol system have lined up in such a way that to travel between them required little if any adjustment to the spacecraft's trajectory? Is it possible? It would be cool to be able to launch a satellite and have it voyage through lots of different SoI without having to adjust its path all the time Perhaps I just get to attached to inanimate objects that have a tendency to travel...
  15. The Kerbin Oceanic Composition Analyzer, or KOCA for short. The Kerbin Atmospheric Composition Analyzer, or KACA for short. I love acronyms.
  16. I'll definitely look into it, my only concern being that it sounds... unstable. But I'll back up my game and give it a whirl! Thanks!
  17. Thank you, looked at it and AIES is beautiful! Question: is it better to us AIES with KW rocketry, or is that just a waste of memory? I currently gave KW rocketry and I'm wondering whether to keep it or replace it.
  18. Which mods did you use to get those satellites and solar panels (in the mission photos)? I think they look so good, but can't seem to find them anywhere... Sorry if this has been asked already
  19. I find getting to dres too difficult, so I just don't bother. It gives me the utmost of shame, and I feel like I'm sullying the name Jebediah Kerman.
  20. Much appreciated There were parts of it I loved, namely the science parts that showed atmosphere and ocean composition. I REALLY loved those, and I wonder whether there are any mods that do this. I don't know why, but I think just knowing what the land is made of, what the oceans are made of and what the atmosphere is made of is just fascinating, whether it has a practical application or not. Know of any mods that do this?
  21. I have only just began to realise this. As soon as I figure out how to uninstall it safely, I most likely will. I love the features it adds, especially the ocean and atmosphere composition equipment, it's just such a hassle. I wonder whether there is a mod specifically designed for ocean/atmosphere/soil composition read outs. I'd definitely get it...
  22. How do I uninstall interstellar? It's great and all, it's just a bit too much to handle at the moment. Perhaps I'll reinstall in the future, but for now I'd like to develop my skills further before shooting off into deep space with fusion engines and warp drive.
  23. I have never even thought about doing that, but it is such a good idea I'm going to start now. How could I have not thought of that sooner???
