  1. Dammit and i thought i was special. Well, i'll show all of you!!! I'l land on eve, using nothing but a single ion engine!!!! On a spacestation!!! mwahahahahahaaaaa!!
  2. Carried out a contract to put a probe into muna orbit, then sent it off to complete another contract on and around minmus, then dropped it off back on kerbin nice and safe
  3. Orbital training facility anyone? Build a station, keep some kerbals up there, transfer them in and out of kerbin SOI on a training ship to level them up! Jebediah would definitely be the CO there 😃 - - - Updated - - - Orbital training facility anyone? 4. Good to see i kicked off a bit of a discussion. We definately need a point to these satellites though. Maybe get rid of signal delay, or as some have said, antennarange.
  5. Yes having them on the difficulty settings would be a must. Life support is one I forgot about actually, maybe we can build a space greenhouse for grand tours to keep our Kerbals fed!
  6. I've wanted to try it for a while, but now with the satellite contracts it would make a lot of sense, it would give your satellite's true purpose other than just being science/cash cows. Maybe introducing some "main" mission contracts which are standard for everyone at certain points, teaching you how to set up a satellite in geo stationary orbit to begin your communication network, enabling you to send probes further out. Also, I haven't done a station contract, but the mod station science would also make a lot of sense in regards to this as well. What do my fellow kerbonaughts think?
  7. They definately need to integrate remote tech, station science, and robotics, i think that would give a lot more purpose to putting up satellites and stations.
  8. okay after jeb ended up 5km away from the landing craft on the mun getting some eva reports and out of mono, please tell me there is an auto run button??
  9. Nice, i have only been using Jeb so far in career so this is great to know. Good post.
  10. I agree as well. Planes finally have a use for survey missions. It would be great for the surveys to also take us to various points of interest and Easter eggs as well. I have sent my first probe to the mun, rescued a kerbal from orbit, done a tonne of surveys on kerbin, now I'm off to deploy satellites and start sending manned missions to the mun and minmus. Remote tech should really be integrated now, with these new satellite contracts it makes a lot of sense. Whilst your at it squad, fancy integrating infernal robotics and kerbal alarms & engineer as well? Great update.
  11. I just thought i would share the holiday cheer and spread the joy, also, im actually getting somewhere in career now after the initial grind, upgrading all my buildings to the next tier, except the r&d labs, that's damned expensive!!! now if i could only figure out how to fly a feckin vtol properly, i just end up using parachutes.
  12. Okay i seem to have found a semi functioning vtol design based on the ones posted here, having a lot of trouble landing the darned thing so i keep resorting to my emergency parachutes. Still, it's a start!
  13. Problem is I have no science upgrades for the a rover yet though! 😢 - - - Updated - - - Problem is I have no science upgrades for the a rover yet though! 😢
  14. Okay so I decided the most efficient way to get these new .90 survey missions done was to try to build a vtol, because it could then easily take me to the ground and air survey sites and get farming those contracts for precious funds. However I am having trouble coming up with a decent design, having never really done much with aircraft in ksp, the new career mode is making me explore different area's of the game I would otherwise avoid. So, I need some help in designing one, I haven't upgraded the R&D building yet, and don't have access to wheels. Also does anyone else find it very difficult trying to find the spot for ground surveys? I land in an area which tells me I'm where i need to be, but when I touch down, I'm outside it again, and its a real pain trying to wander into it with my kerbal running around just hoping I am going in the right direction. Advise & Discuss please 😃
  15. Shame really i liked the idea of it. Ah well maybe we will get it in .91
  16. Environmental hazards on planets, volcanoes, acid lakes etc. And the need to actually set up a satellite network. Fairings & robotics.
