  1. That Enterprise is crazy. From the runway, a slight tap of the throttle to get it up to about 1% immediately kills the entire crew due to excessive G-force, and puts the ship on a Kerbol escape trajectory. Fun stuff, but I've toned down the max thrust for the next attempt.
  2. The LEM doesn't have a reaction wheel, and I can't seem to set the LEM docking port as my target. I'm also a little confused as to why the LEM has a staging icon for landing gear and each stage in addition to the actually functional ones.
  3. Thanks for your comments. This quote is particularly apt, I think. Right now "Science" in the stock game is really more like "experience points".
  4. Thanks for the update. I haven't tried it out yet, since I neglected to alter my existing designs so they wouldn't be broken by the update. Any chance of a 2.3.1 download to save all my work? It's just the old Merlin setup that was overwritten that's causing my old designs to be lost.
  5. Interesting. While recognizing it's not a high priority, I'm hoping that the tree for the various mods is as well thought-out as possible, especially the advanced ones like Kethane and Interstellar, so that progression can be slow (like a mission or two per node even in the late game) and rewarding. I suppose this might not be completely possible; in my last career I ended up with over 13000 science on a single mission to Jool and its moons, which finished the tech tree with several thousand left over. The more nodes there are at the end the better, as far as I'm concerned. Especially since the interstellar stuff has great potential for allowing new kinds of science missions, it'd be a shame if it didn't take more than a mission or two to unlock everything.
  6. I'm really looking forward to the next update. I've downloaded a bunch of new mods but want to start a new career to get into them slowly and have chosen this tech tree.
  7. I love this mod, but am having some trouble with it. The Dragon capsule has an inherent roll to it, which isn't a big deal except when you're trying to fly the pod by itself. The air intake nosecone is also very difficult to line up, making it a necessity to begin any new construction by loading the already-built version that comes with the mod. It would be great if I could also start from scratch. It seems it would be much better if the nosecone were a single part rather than 4 separate ones. Monopropellant doesn't play nice with staging (i.e., doesn't follow the rules of fuel cross-feeding and such), so this mod will be even better if Squad fixes that.
