  1. I love the parts and the idea of the mod, but with no control it's extremely hard to get very much altitude now. Even aimed exactly 90° up I still spin out between 4-6km. I'll keep trying though! Edit: Adding strategically placed fins helps quite a bit. I just had them on the first stage...
  2. I had this same thing happening to me and my station/orbiter. I found out through trial and error it was the SAS on the orbiter that was overcompensating trying to keep everything stable and winding up shaking it all apart. So I attached anything with torque on it to an action group, and as I'm about to connect to the station, turn off all torque on the orbiter. Took care of the problem for me at least.
  3. Having other mystery goo light colors would be awesome. I've been using them a lot. I love how light and small they are.
  4. Enneract - That's fine. I really do wish all versions were up to 64 bit. I wasn't meaning your posts, they were informative and taught me some things I didn't know about how the game runs. I was just meaning some of the others that were getting a little off topic. No offense intended! Paramedicdoc - I wasn't a big fan of the stack mounting at first, but that looks nice. Do you have rockets under the decoupler, or maybe a jet engine for re-entry?
  5. I agree. It's kind of taking away from the KSO discussions. Play KSP on whatever makes you happy.
  6. Thank you. That is weird that resources are given to the parts that won't even have them. Maybe they could get rid of or fix it in a future version of the KOS. It's nice when trying out different boosters or payloads to see if your CoM and CoT line up.
  7. Is anyone else's center of gravity missing in the VAB? My center of thrust and lift show up just fine, but when I click on the icon for COG, it will flicker once and not show up again.
  8. The larger KW SRB's work really well. They don't look bad either. I also added a small internal fuel tank with an extra reaction wheel. Worked great getting up to my station at 100km. I think I might have to try that mod with the fuel valves though, I had quite a bit extra on landing. Also while testing with the KW boosters, I delivered a 7 ton payload into orbit. http://imgur.com/a/dVxZp#0
  9. I have no problem with not being able to fit the 2.5m parts into the shuttle. I think it should be used for what it was designed for, and that's the smaller parts and parts helldiver is currently making, service missions, small satellite deployment, and crew rotation. If you really need to get a larger piece up to your station or just orbit in general, rockets will work just fine. Like Westi said, the inflatable parts would be a perfect thing for the shuttle to bring up to the station if you're bent on using the shuttle and having larger habitation modules.
  10. Hey Helldiver and Nazari. Just wanted to say really great work. This is easily up there as one of my favorite mods. I definitely love the direction this project has taken and is continuing to go in. Your dedication to it really shows in game. Keep it up, and thank you so much!
