[1.3.1][Kopernicus]The Boris System (new planets) ADOPTED!! Finally
Larrt_M replied to medikohl's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I know I am interested, your planets are fantastic! I don't know how many downloads you have gotten but you have over 11,000 views. It seems like a lot of people are interested. Just don't want to bother you if you are busy. Are you going to release your new system? -
Oh! I thought I had another fuel tank for the ascent. Yes, it will be tight if that is it for fuel. RCS, yes, I hope so... And, yes, I used the technique in the video you posted. It seemed to make the landing much easier then what I have been doing in the past. But, as you can see by how much fuel I burned I need more practice, plus I was too high off the surface. I should have been closer like in your video. Thanks for posting that video. Great looking lander! Time to watch a few more tutorials.

The new standard in super heavy stock lifters

Sorry, I'm a bit new at this. It looks awesome, just downloaded it. Do I just add a decoupler to the top and add my payload to that? I just put your lifter into orbit on a test flight. Pretty amazing! -

Well, I figured I would ask, you never know people can be funny. Nice planet! That might be Brag up there in the pictures. http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad343/Larry_M/KSP2014-03-1015-40-11-48.jpg http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad343/Larry_M/KSP2014-03-1015-48-27-70.jpg http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad343/Larry_M/KSP2014-03-1016-46-12-39.jpg http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad343/Larry_M/KSP2014-03-1016-49-38-71.jpg http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad343/Larry_M/KSP2014-03-1016-59-40-85.jpg http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad343/Larry_M/KSP2014-03-1017-01-38-23.jpg -
Landed on Talot in the lighter area near the large impact crater. Great job on that crater, it looks very cool! Also, nice ground texture in that light area. Great planet for driving a rover. Looking forward to more planets. http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad343/Larry_M/KSP2014-03-1115-47-58-04.jpg http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad343/Larry_M/KSP2014-03-1116-06-58-87.jpg http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad343/Larry_M/KSP2014-03-1116-49-19-66.jpg

Wow! That was pretty tricky, landing on Fearless. I think the combination of the thin low atmosphere plus the planet seemed to be rotating faster then most I've landed on. Took two tries. The first try I just couldn't get slowed down in time, even with all the parachutes. Glad I did an F5 in orbit! Well, I did make it. I can post some pictures tomorrow if you like? -

I'm been thinking of putting a rover on your new Fearless. I see it has an atmosphere. I think that will be my next mission.
