  1. Well, I want to go to space, and I usually design my rockets with accidental emergency staging (for some reason, everytime I make a mistake upon reentry, FAR tears my rockets apart, except for the parts that need to survive; 100% survival so far, and beautiful fireballs over Kerbin). So, why not? The rockets I would not want to get in are my interplanetary one-man landers, which require the pilot to sit in a chair for half a year.
  2. But in order to have significant amounts of Dv, you would need hundreds of full air intakes; so basically you would have to build something which is entirely covered in intakes, close them all while they're full of air and fly that thing into space using rocket power, then fly whereever you want using jet engines... That sounds like a task for Danny. Or Xacktar.
  3. Okay, that makes sense. But, in that matter, it is weird that I got this contract on the same day from the same manufacturer after having to test the same part while in LKO...
  4. Well, the weirdest one I got was to test the smal gear bay on a suborbital trajectory. Not really impossible or dramatic, but...why?
  5. FonVegen reporting in from Germany.
  6. Awesome Really, I think I like where this is going.
  7. Sounds interesting. Have you got any plans for the story so far? Or rather, what are you planning to be happening? The only point I do not like 'that' much is that your nations seem to have a case of K-syndrom... But I would definitively like to see this continue.
  8. Really well done! Waiting for more with patience (would contribute a sketch or something like that, but I lack the talent of drawing, painting or anything in that area). Rainbow Kerbals?
  9. I don't know about that, but I (sorry that's the only thing I can add) have to make a tiny correction (though it probably won't help with your problems): Harv (I guess you mean HOC?) currently is 16 years old.
  10. I would really like this being implemented. Also, there are certain sections in the orbit of the earth where there happen to be lots of small rocks. May that be possible too? So, whenever Kerbin is in a (randomly at the beginning of the save generated?) specific section of it's orbit, there would happen to be more meteors than at other times. Maybe that would work like some kind of SoI, just with space rocks spawning more frequently instead of source of gravity changing. Just an idea that crossed my mind
  11. Chapter 5 confuses me quite a bit. Didn't his brother say that their father died when Sigfel was still a baby? How comes he remembers what his father told him about space travel? Great story though, I would like to see this continue.
  12. In that second, the engine exploded.
