  1. Ignore him Tib. He reports problems in *every* mod thread. Troll, most probably.
  2. Well, all that is true and well, but I am quite sure you\'re smart enough to realize that educating people via an internet forum is futile.
  3. So what? If they\'re having fun, let them. I\'m not saying you should cater to them, or even like them. Just let them be. I don\'t really see how they can make the game less fun for us.
  4. In my opinion KSP is like Lego - you take the bricks, do whatever you want with them and have FUN. In whatever way you want to, and even you Nova can\'t dictate how others should have fun ;-) Now, with the influx of the youngsters lately, there is little surprise that there is a demand for parts that make stuff easy. Ridiculously easy and not fun for some, but then, who is to say that our way of having fun is better / worse?
  5. That bad, eh? Well then, I\'ll be needing to bump the size of my droptanks then....
  6. Now that we have fuel lines, so many wonderful things are possible: Droptanks! And they are detachable - so you one can do landing stage on external fuel tanks - and return on the main one Will be in the next update, I want to make small RCS for the Baker too.
  7. Did anyone create a working, complete fuel line/strut mod? I\'ve found a need to have a smaller fuel line, opened up the DAE for the fuel line and the mount of stuff in there confuses me (those pivots especially). I tried just rescaling the whole thing to 50% but I got really strange results: the pipe part didn\'t change but the rest shrunk like 10 or 20 times - becoming nothing more that just a few pixels. If someone knows how to properly do this, I\'d be grateful for some pointers...
  8. I\'m from Poland, but live in Tokyo.
  9. Sometimes it just does that... no idea why... Usually, dropping the base back into the parts section and selecting a new one helps. If that also doesn\'t fix it, tray building a new rocket from scratch.
  10. Unfortunately didn\'t take one... When I finish work today I might make another expedition there, will post then
  11. Sorry for that, I was uploading late at night when everything is a bit crispier. Here\'s the Baker in full light: And yeah, the LK was an obvious source of inspiration, but I wanted the command module even bigger - big enough for 3 kerbals.
  12. I\'ve finished the new Baker Lander So a new version of the pack is up for grabs! - Head over to the first post. The new command pod has half the SAS strength of the standard one - which I feel is perfect for small landers as it allows to control the Baker perfectly while on the Mün - landing, taking off, relocating to a new LZ, landing, taking off... never was so easy This however means that there may be trouble controlling the large boost / orbit stages. Personally, I use winglets while in atmo, then switch on the RCS systems. Baker on the Mün!
  13. Found a real nice terrain patch today - lots of medium height mountains, not the usual boring plains.
  14. That\'s a JAXA H2A 202 rocket there in the bg!
  15. Baker pattern lander rehaul going good: should be ready around new year.
  16. Glad you like it. The values for thrust, fuel capacity ratios are based on the standard parts and simple math formulas for volume etc. I bumped some of them by really small amounts as a premium for using large parts instead of small ones (less connections, valves, pipes, etc should mean more space for fuel right?). In other news, I\'ve reworked some of the parts, and will be releasing a small update tonight - with payload fairings EDIT: Done! New version available in the first post for download! Now that I have the basic rocket complete, I think I\'ll do a rehaul of the lander module...
  17. Kids this days... don\'t know their sci-fi one bit. Star Trek
  18. fn + f1 is your friend for taking screenshots ;-)
  19. You could perhaps use a font that actually is readable...
  20. And now for the terrifying prospect of UV mapping and texturing this... Looking cool, especially the wheel on the hatch. Really awesome. But yeah, UV mapping this... <shiver>
  21. This is the true Kerbal way of setting up a fuel depot. Bravo!
  22. Ok, seems that I\'ve accidentally included some Mac OS temp files in the archieve. I\'ve deleted them and reuploaded the pack.
  23. I\'ve just downloaded it again and it unpacked fine - what seems to be the problem?
  24. Okay, the 0.13 is out and so it\'s time to do an update of the pack For the full info head to the first post, short version: some fixes, two new parts, heat management tweaked.
