  1. Any way to edit it so it also searches custom categories as well? Seems like a short sighted design to be honest, especially considering squad has been so open to modding for years.
  2. Been trying to ID an issue, not 100% sure if it is just this mod but thought would ask in case anyone else has encountered it; The In built search function does not find the parts that are with this mod (other mod parts are included as well). Initially thought it might be "QuickSearch" but bug persists even though that is removed. Any ideas or suggestions? I.E. typing "PAL" in, or "USI" or even "truss" does not locate any part of the PAL items, or the truss in the case of "truss".
  3. Must be something my end then, will run backwards and see what was causing it to not load. Likely a conflict somewhere. Thank you for checking. Might want to edit title to show it is "live" so other people can continue to find this and use it as it is amazingly useful!
  4. Thank you very much guys, did not want to add to the work load you guys are doing, it seems you are basically holding the modding community together!
  5. I guess it is safe to say this mod is dead now? If so are the any alternatives that offer a similar function? Am wondering for current (1.3.1)
  6. Also using something like part commander allows you to select it.
  7. How long does it normally take ckan guys to get around to putting the up-to-date version on their lovely program?
  8. Will add to the disappearing button oddity; is disappeared between me going to main menu & returning to saved game (no exit ksp or mod update inbetween). Starting a new game also didnt resolve the issue. A full exit & retsrat of ksp did (just the wait while modulemanager sorts the mods). Bizarre but at least a restart fixed it for me.
  9. No I was talking about the toolbar not appearing & flickering, thus posting in the "UI flicker bug" thread... Else I would post in a thread about parts...
  10. Was not so hard to point out a feature to someone who didnt know it existed. Not used to forums prefer bug trackers directly.... Seems odd that its not auto-selected to sort via date....
  11. A) No need to be rude B) Second reply quoted only states that the fix he has done includes tweaking content & his dislike of blind fixes. C) The first quote is actually ASKING for information about what mods cause it (ergo by ruling out mods also fulfils the opposite half of that proposition). Now the thing about crowd based information is this; the more information you share between people tracking down bugs the greater the speed of tracking the bug, thus by posting mods that are not causing the issue people can rule them out, or if they encounter the issue with a mod I ruled out they can post & where the mods have a cross over you can locate possible avenues to explore further. So I am going to keep going through the list of mods I have trying to reproduce the bug, thus finding which mod/s are responsible, and keep updating the spoilers (so ppl do not have to read them if they dont want to) to better facilitate a speedy resolution. The second two replies you edited in I cannot even find on this thread... by time (15 hours ago) or by searching the thread via ctrl+f & searching for the quoted remarks. Edit - you found the quote on his profile page, yet it does not show up in the thread... final edit a puush link showing the time-frame quoted (17-13 hours ago) no mention of the posts your quoting. Forum bug? http://puu.sh/rQKd0.png
  12. @Speadge Any idea where I can find that quote? read everything in this thread to no avail.
  13. Taken a load of mods off & got the bug to disappear, as soon as I start adding mods back it comes back. As soon as I added "Procedural Fairings" & "WildBlueIndustries" the bug reappeared. Independently both mods work without the bug, together the bug appears. Not tried any additional combo's yet. As for the part count idea, no category has more than 72 (3x24) parts in it so its less than the 100 that has been mentioned before. *Edit* testing done in sandbox mode (in case contracts had an impact) *snip* removed unwanted info from post & sorry to @Speadge for trouble.
  14. Sorry to disagree but sandbox mode, scientific & full career have thus bug for me, will start working through mod lists & see if I can narrow it down as well...(not listing mods as list is extensive)
  15. Just noticed this thread has not been updated since September. Is this mod on a break or just quietly being worked on, hopefully not RIP as I like playing around with its funky features.
  16. Just a quick heads up, when downloading from ckan get a corrupt download error. Tried several times yday & today, happens every time, anyone else having this issue?
  17. Did you read any of the last few pages? It IS being worked on by the author. The are recommendations on what else can be used in the meantime and to do something exactly like "sciencealert" would likely have issues with its license. Thus I refer you to my previous post
  18. I believe squad is still on their 2 week break after releasing the last patch (why have a break after a patch, which nearly always needs hot-fixing we dont know). Have another few days before they return & realise the issue I suspect
  19. Running Exception Detector and I consistently get the following error (normally when entering SPH/VAB); "Launchpad ExtraplanetaryLaunchpads.ExEditorToolbar.Awake: 1" (the 1 is the exception count, thus goes to 2 when I re-enter the SPH. Is this something that can be safely ignored?
  20. I closed the exceptiondetector window the other day & it told me to re-enable change something in a config file, for the life of me I cannot remember which config file or where to find it. Any suggestion?
  21. To anyone who dares to complain that this is taking to long to update; Please follow these steps; 1) Please click this link, and read the tutorials 2) Write your own mod 3) Use that If your can not, are to lazy or simply do not know how your options are; 1) Look here, on the right hand side and see that progress is being made, take a deep breath and calm down, then post a message of support or, if you can and find this mod useful, donate to help the author. 2) Should you feel not calm yet, take another deep breath. Hell, splash out, take 3. Realise that life is vastly more complicated and important than updating a mod for a game, that this is likely not that important a deal in the grand scheme of things, then go for a walk (calms me down). 3) Check back in a few days This has been a Public Service Announcement on behalf of pestered modders everywhere.
  22. I donate my best wishes & would happily help (got time on my hands and can get my head around nearly everything) but can not donate any funds as I have none
