I would rather they add milti-monitr support so you can have the flight view on one monitor and the map on another monitor

title says it all, I want to release a mod but it is only a modified config file for a stock part, can I release it as a mod?

I kind of agree with other posts saying it will be spaceX and NASA together, but I do not think it will be a 50/50 deal. I think that once SpaceX starts getting serious and people realize that they can do it then NASA will ditch the SLS and help with the Mars mission but SpaceX will spearhead the operation.

Yes. as they make more progress investors will surely jump on board. I would not be surprised if Google helped them out, since they fund lots of innovative projects

many people have said that SpaceX does not have the money to fund a Mars mission. But if they succeed in making rocket launched cheap via reusability, then they might be able to afford it, assuming that they have no other money making programs by then, like the internet constellation

this is just a little poll that I made, because I am curious if people think SpaceX will get to Mars before NASA. I personally think SpaceX will get s there first, mainly because they have the will, and NASA keeps getting bounced around by politics. EDIT: I am talking about a manned mission here.

This is the main reason I suggested this feature. I felt like this would still give the feeling of life support but be less hardcore.

One of the things that I see a lot of players do it cram 3 Kerbals in a mk1-2 pod and send them to Duna. I know that it is simpler to do, but I always put extra liable space on my long-duration ships so that my crew has some recreational space and whatnot. How amount, for long duration missions, Kerbals would require a certain amount of livable space on their ships. The longer the missions, the more space they require. Here are a few examples: -For Mun missions, each Kerbal would only take up one crew slot. So a Mk1-2 command pod would be enough to send three Kerbals to the Mun. -As missions get longer, Kerbals gradually require more space, Lets say that for a Minmus mission, each Kerbal takes up 1.5 crew slots, so a MK1-2 pod with a 2 seat lander would be enough for a 3 Kerbal Minmus mission. -The maximum amount would be where one Kerbal takes up 2 crew slots. This would be on interplanetary missions and other long-duration missions like stations or bases. -If Kerbals are kept in tight conditions (i.e. 3 Kerbals in a Mk1-2 pod to Jool) they become less effective. A pilot may be able to perform less SAS maneuvers or an engineer may be able to fix less parts. Let me know what you think!

the SLS is more or less the same rocket as the Ares V, except ares V would have used 5 Denta IV engines in the core instead of SSMEs. I like bringing back Ares V as the name for SLS. Or we could call it the Delay I, since its schedule is nothing but delays, delays, delays, and... Whops! looks like SpaceX beat us to Mars.

I know a lot of people want Mk1/Mk2.5 cargo bays, and I think I have a solution that would not require adding more parts to the game. What if SQUAD changed the service bays so that they are open-ended, so you can out as many in a row as you want. This means you could make a larger cargo bay rather than just a place for storing experiments.
