  1. Kerbal Komets 0.5.0 is now available: - Updated to KSP 1.3.1. - Removed pressenceChance from the settings file; it's handled by the Settings->Difficulty screen. - Bug fixes.
  2. Pathfinder 1.13 is now available: Ranches And Pipelines Along with some new parts, this release introduces a new capability: the ability to transfer resources between the active vessel and unloaded vessels, including KIS inventory items! To do this, all you need to do is establish a Pipeline at both ends. New Parts - Ranch House (Composites): This large structure is an intermediate step between the inflatable temporary structures and the permanent Sandcastle dwellings that will be in a future release. Instead of having multiple configurations, the Ranch House provides production bonuses to all the parts with converters that are a part of the base. Additionally, it generates data that can be distributed to Doc Science Labs, Mobile Processing Labs, and the new Pipeline Mass Driver. That data can also be collected to provide a prospecting bonus when searching for Gold Strike lodes. The amount of bonuses and data generated depends upon how well staffed the Ranch House is. Finally, the part starts out as a Buckboard-sized packing box that requires copious amounts of Equipment to assemble. Unlike the smaller inflatable structures, the Ranch House cannot be disassembled. - Pipeline Mass Driver (Nanolathing): The Pipeline lets you transfer resources and KIS inventory items to unloaded vessels in range. The transfers can be ground-to-ground or ground-to-orbit. Each destination must have its own Pipeline. Be sure to check the construction requirements; Pipelines are expensive- they need lots of Equipment and Konkrete. Like the Ranch House, the Pipeline starts out as a Buckboard-sized packing box, and cannot be disassembled. - Orbital Pipeline (Nanolathing): The orbital variant of the Pipeline can perform orbit-to-orbit transfers and receive deliveries from ground-based Pipelines. Orbit-to-ground transfers are not supported. - Rangeland Construction Pad (Advanced Construction): Like the Ranch House, the Rangeland starts out as a Buckboard-sized packing box. Once assembled, it forms a large pad from which you can build new vessels if you have Extraplanetary Launchpads installed. It also cannot be disassembled. KNOWN ISSUE: The Rangeland allows vessel construction even when compacted. - Buffalo Recycler Arm (Advanced Construction): This part can recycle parts that come in contact with its blowtorch. It doesn't require a skilled engineer. - Lasso Aero/Hydro Scoop (Aerodynamic Systems, Advanced Aerodynamics): This specialized atmospheric/oceanic intake contains filters and processing units to retrieve valuable resources from the atmosphere and oceans of a planet. It comes in three sizes. Bug Fixes And Enhancements - Reduced reactor output from the Nukeworks but made it last longer. - Nukeworks now produces NuclearWaste as part of its output products in Classic Stock play mode. - Added Nuclear Reprocessor to the Nukeworks. - WBT update.
  3. I'm using stock part modules for the surveys, not sure what I can do. Meanwhile, MOLE 1.9.0 is now available: New Parts - Bigby Decoupler (Specialized Construction): This expensive Size 3 decoupler was built to help launch the Bigby Orbital Workshop. - Bigby Fairing (Specialized Construction): This fairing was specially built to help launch the Bigby Orbital Workshop. New Experiment - Gravioli Wave Experiment: You'll need a DenEye telescope and Bigby Solar Observatory along with a MOLE lab to look for gravioli waves in the cosmos. Bug Fixes & Enhancements - Moved the IA-375 Interstage Adapter to Specialized Construction. - The Coach 500 now stored up to 8 science experiments. - WBT Update
  4. Heisenberg 2.8.7 is now available: - Fixed KIS isues with flight deck inventory storage. - Sound fixes for flight deck parts. - WBT update
  5. Really cool to see the designs you come up with in action. Nice to see your efforts paying off. Also, it looked like you had texture issues with the Duna tanks, they were gray...
  6. “Hi Kerny, it’s Val, So, uh, just wanted to let you know: - We’ve had a break in the UFO problem - There’s a lot of ongoing tensions at the space center - Not to mention that Bill is still missing... - Someone is still flying that stolen cargo plane around -And yeah, Jeb is still AWOL. Forgot to mention that I’m inviting you to my wedding. It’s top secret Section 31stuff, so hush! Sorry for the trouble, - Val”
  7. Tested it today and it's working for me. Make sure you have Equipment stores and room for any other resource the scrapped part has. Also, started working on the last part before the release is ready: the Lasso Aero/Hydro Scoop: As you can see, it's an ISRU unit specially designed for scooping up atmosphere and oceans.
  8. No, this is a mass driver that lets you transfer resources between the active vessel and an unloaded vessel. You select the destination craft and resources and KIS inventory items that you want to transfer: Then you go to the destination craft and collect the delivery: It's great for having multiple bases on a planet where, say, a mining base isn't a good location for a base that builds new vessels.
  9. Finished Pathfinder's ground and orbital Pipeline mass drivers: Orbital variant: Unlike the ground variant, the orbital variant doesn't come packed in a box. But, it fits in the Mk3 cargo bay. And here is the new Buffalo Recycler Arm: It's getting there... If you don't have a Level 2 Engineer available to go outside and recycle parts, then you can attach the Recycler Arm to your vehicle and point the blowtorch at the space junk. Almost done with the latest Pathfinder release!

  11. Not sure what you mean by resource mod; Pathfinder has a bunch of buildings and resource chains; the Buffalo was originally just going to be part of Pathfinder but I made it available separately. As for the JetWing, the idea is that you use KIS to attach it to a vessel and fuel it up before detaching it again and climbing aboard.
  12. Well, it's actually designed to transfer resources and KIS items from the active vessel to an unloaded vessel that's hundreds of kilometers away.
  13. I got a major chunk of the mass driver model done for Pathfinder's new Pipeline part:
  14. That doesn't sound right, I just checked the Coach 225 and it has 4 experiments.... As for the lag, try turning off all the science labs and see if that helps. If not, try turning off the hab module converters.
  15. Next update will increase the experiment storage on the Coach 500 to 8. I also have a couple of extra parts needed to properly launch the Bigby Orbital Workshop- it correctly shows up in the tier below the 3.75m stock fairings and such, but I realized that you didn't have the gear needed to launch it.:
  16. The Short Logistics Module was made for that purpose. It holds several experiments in addition to the standard resource suite. Next update it'll hold 8.
  17. I am looking at a hex hangar/ corridor, various adapters, a large diameter thruster plate, large solar panels, hexagonal command pod, and ring shaped centrifuge. That might not sound like a lot, but it can easily take me a month or more, and I want to finish the parts list for DSEV by the end of the year. BARIS was a big but needed detour that delayed my plans, and I wasn’t planning on the Pipeline mass drivers until later, and that has pushed back a top secret project even further. And since most of the Nautilus parts are redundant, I’m considering dropping them and skipping to the Venture Star like parts instead. They will definitely be useful for going way beyond the Kerbol star system.
  18. That’s odd, I don’t do anything out of the ordinary with MOLE and its converters. The biggest difference would be the science system but even that is based on stock converters. What all do you have on the station?
