  1. I'm asking for clarification with regards to leveling. The wiki says: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Experience If only one Kerbal in the mission plants a flag, only that Kerbal will gain experience for having done so. The kerbonaut gains the experience and reaches level only when it returns to the Astronaut Complex by recovery. The line in bold makes it ambiguous as to whether the flag has to stay planted on a particular surface. I'm asking because A) I don't want dozens of flags everywhere and B ) ideally I would prefer doing a multi-flag-planting run in one launch. Perhaps someone ought to clarify this in the wiki. So do the flags have to stay there to get the xp? I take it for granted that they can be taken down after arriving back on kerbin; I'm asking if they can be taken down right after being planted.
  2. Hello, I was hoping to get confirmation, from people who have looked into this or perhaps even the devs themselves, as to whether or not it is intentional that "Explore" contracts seem out of order. I had this issue around July, and now again that I've restarted the game. I get the usual world firsts like "orbit kerbin", then I get "fly by mun" then "rendezvous 2 ships in orbit" and then Explore Duna. Shouldn't this be explore mun, or minmus? In the summer I would get Explore Mun, then it would go to Explore Duna, skipping minmus. And before anyone says it's because I left Kerbin SOI or something like that, I made a mock career save, turned cheats on, and quickly repeated all the world first contracts only. It STILL skipped Mun and Minmus and went to Duna after "rendezvous 2 ships in orbit" Googling around I have been finding posts where some people claim contracts are related to reputation. Even if this is true, why would Duna require less rep than Mun? Thanks
  3. And I just got back from Eeloo . Took 61 years game time (50 of that was the return... I really did not know the most efficient way back, and kept fine-tuning my orbit with the ion engine till I finally hit Kerbin). If anyone has any recommended links for interplanetary tutorials / tips, etc, I could sure use it. I don't use mods, so no mods please.
