  1. well no wonder it works so well, bacon makes everything better, even bacon.
  2. hell just landing an srb mun lander and returning would be quite a challange.
  3. the wings look a bit too straight and the uprights a bit small. (the reference i used)
  4. i finished making one of these myself earlier today, (yet to upload anything) but i noticed a couple of things that could be done better very easily. particularly the cockpit position and nose section. the f-14 cockpit ends about 1/4-1/3 of it's length behind where the intake vents start, and the nose section itself is roughly 1/2 the length of the rest of the plane. (1/3 total length)

  6. my first attempt: total flight time under 1 minute. of course that was about the time i hit mach 4 and all 6 engines instantly explode.... all tests lead to the same result, at mach 4 those ram jets explode, despite the mach 6 rating. my plane, named Too Much Thrust ( because in the SPH, KER said i only had 0.03/0.04 TWR and i assumed i broke it some how ) http://i.imgur.com/IlAGWFN.jpg
  7. well your chutes are doing more than mine then. spent the last 2 hrs trying to figure out why a flea, 3 goo's, 4 tiny fins, the starter command pod, and a KER circuit board would land between 400-600 mps when i deployed the chute way up in the lowest upper atmosphere. the chute isnt breaking off, but isn't slowing anything down in lower atmosphere, in fact i keep gaining speed until impact. though mine is on windows.
  8. we need could use 4 more mods like this, all that go really well together. something like i17, n21, g43, and o64.
  9. assemble a small module of it, launch that, and repeat until your mothership is done.

I dont have the very latest one atm, but i when i was building i noticed one part that i thing would be a great addition. this comes primarily cause i love the endcap parts for the HX class parts. particularly the HX0 endcap. an HX2 to HX1 but with places to connect 2 HX0 parts next to the HX1. probably could do this with a HX4 to HX1 as well. just a sugestion ^^.

  12. i have a fairly stupid question, i never bother copying over the ships folder, and usualy just drop in the folders that are in the gamedata folder. but with this i've been leaving out the b9_aerospace_deprecated folder. does that make any difference in how it works or is it still needed for somethings?
  13. found a couple of issues, the larger triangular rcs seems to only fire in one direction and not both. the largest cockpit has the first and second person clipping through the roof in the pictures on the bottom right.   14. YES!, i found it finally. not gonna tell where out of respect to the modders but i will give this one hint; all the info needed is in this thread and the google search i found it through gave only 3 results with 2 words.
  15. yes, first run will take a while cause it's compressing all the textures, every load after that it's just making sure it doesn't need to re-compress them. though atm its not working properly, it appears to hit an exception and stop reading/compressing files as soon as it hits the first .truecolor currently i'm trying to figure out the override stuff to see if i can just make it skip them all together w/o skipping the whole squad folder.
  16. well that sucks, but at least theirs hope in the plugin area. i'm actualy in a class now for texturing. so far its been easy(ish) but all the assignments require a source image, so i've just been using parts of the pic for the textures. they come out decent enough but any time i try a from scratch texture it comes out like a 1st grade art project
  17. i've seen a few pictures floating around of how to make landing gear and legs with suspension and i was wondering if its possible to make a part that is only suspension and have connecting nodes on each end of it. ( so one end stays in place but the other node and its attached parts shift ) havent really started modding yet, but from the stuff i have read/seen it seams easy enough. texturing and balancing seem like the main hard points.

  19. all the mass effect games. i flat out cant go evil in it due to one charicter, tali. doing anything bad to her feels like kicking a puppy.
