totm june 2018 Work-in-Progress [WIP] Design Thread
manni01 replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
So my recording software chose not to give me the recording files which then led to a crash, and it was a perfect run too... sigh* But I did take some screenshots for a potential thumbnail, so might as well show these: -
There are control surfaces and extra wings in the hull to have it pitch better. Then there are some flaps on the outer wing part to make it roll better.
-
Nope. Its me, again instead of rainbowtrout ( I misspelled it to rainbro trout, lol) Overfloater?
-
No lol, rainbowtrout is a funny name Sal_Vager?

Uhmmm, and I thought YouTube comment wars were bad. Guys lets keep it civilized. If any of each other prove another one wrong (which is highly improbable), what will be the outcome. Sure some happiness, but in a month all this will probably be forgotten. Please stop fighting over a topic that you guys can't significantly influence. It's not worth spending your free time on this fight.

My picture before realizing that it can't land on Duna. So.... I quickloaded back to kerbin orbit to fly it Laythe (because thats how you properly plan missions!) Mission video will be up by probably tomorrow btw, its a cargo ssto that I'm testing on bringing 15 tons to Laythe, but I will probably be able to bring more. I might also make a Duna version -
Keep in mind its outdated But the C7 canards would break the SP+ wing look and the canards have a very distinct look, which doesn't give that much versatility when it comes to replicas lol
-
Su-47 Replica This is a bit of an old craft, which I never uploaded because I thought it was pretty bad, but people told me its not that bad, so here it is. Its from .25, so the download might not work. As always, Its stable and maneuverable. Download (the craft is outdated, so it might be buggy)
-
I'm not quite sure either, but there are plently sites where you can find out why: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2011/12/22/the-10-reasons-the-f-35-lightning-fighter-will-dominate-21st-century-skies/ I think its because it had vtol, multi-role, and is pretty good at stealth. But I'm not a f-35 entheuist and by no means an expert.
-
F-35 Lightning Replica I've made past versions of this guy, but I think they weren't as simple, yet effective as this version. Of course, this craft is excessively maneuverable, and will not flip out of control. It has missiles which I threw on there, which are included in the download (they're easily removed). Action groups are as follows: 1 - Vtol Engines 2 - Main engines 9 - toggle sas modules 0 - toggle intakes You can really do some crazy things with this guy. Download

Impliment Enviromental vidual Enhancement
manni01 replied to Xentoe's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
The guy above me got most of the point. But what about us without great computers. KSP has always been a good game for it being semi stable on all sorts of computers. Adding such a memory hogger will break the game for many. Thats not what squad wants to do. -
RSS with some mods keeps crashing
manni01 replied to manni01's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Thanks for the reply -
So after some building and tweaking on a rocket, I go in the launchpad, notice something bad, and go back in the VAB to fix it. I do that for like 3 times, but the last time it crashes, literally just closing KSP. I have a player.log file, because it helped find out the reason of crashing in the past. My mods are: - RSS - Ambient light adjustment - Texture replacer - Deadly reentry - Engineer (doesn't seem to work) - Environmental visual enhancements - FAR Player.log file: http://download1513./iqpkzr1yf7kg/1ic0f3qn46sv99i/Player.log I think it is me running out of memory, but I just want to double check.

I've been working on this little mission for the few inconsecutive hours I have in my free time. I made this for the Eve Rocks challenge (check my sig for more info) , where the hardest difficulty was landing on eve without parachutes, landing gear, all under 500m; I even had to get a soil sample and a water sample. Apart of that, I think I'm going into real solar system now, until the next update.

totm june 2018 Work-in-Progress [WIP] Design Thread
manni01 replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Seems like its been a year since my last post on the WIP thread. So i've built an eve rock for the "Eve Rocks" challenge. Moar boo... ah... info in my signature (click on the badge) Ribfrid Kerman did the Jebediah level of this challenge, maybe he will one day replace bill or bob. -
Folders in SPH and VAB for Craft file organization
manni01 replied to manni01's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Thats what I'm doing right now actually right now. I just don't think its necessary to reload and replace crafts just for organization -
The Eve Rocks Challenge (v0.90 only)
manni01 replied to Laie's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
*Morgan Freeman voice* And now, for another entree, to the Eve Rocks Challenge! As the mission, I have compiled a video of short events that conclude my entree. I hope this is alright, I really don't like taking bagillion of screen shots at specific times, besides, I'm a better video editor than picture taker. If this doesn't suffice, I'm okay with redoing the mission, it'll just bug me a bit. To the important stuff: - I'm entering for Jebediah Level (also lowest mass) - Mass: 550.2 t Part count: 257 - Mass: 64.8 t Part count: 132 - 347,840 Funds - 0.90.0 - Ambient light adjustment, and Kerbal alarm clock - I sort of aimed for a laky area, and there was one, and I landed sort of near it, which I was fine with - Its a pretty compact, low-mass, and fairly cheap for an eve landing and return vehicle, that can get back from under 500m. I like minimality - I had to quickload twice because the game glitched and weird part colliding into launchpad in eve orbit stuff Here's the most important part, THE VIDEO: I hope I'm eligible for the badge now. I did this mission just for the reason because it looks cool, and purpley, like eve, which I like too. -
Hearing this, Stanley decides to not do whatever the narrator is fine with, resulting in him camping out in the room, not choosing a door at all, declining progress. He does this for 20 seconds, whereafter Stanley got bored and chose the 3rd door, which some people refer to as the A/C vent.

Good to see that I'm not the only one who needs this.

Banned for having favorite planets. Don't you see the others being sad. Especially emotional Eeloo
