So last time i played ksp (.25), switching to docking mode would switch the normally ijkl hn keys to wasd shift ctrl, but now even after clicking docking mode, i still need to use ijkl hn. Is this intended or am i doing something wrong?

The game has a 22km physics range. It used to be 2.5km. What this means is that, anything outside this range will not get loaded and anything not loaded that is flying in the atmosphere is deleted. The only way to fix this is indeed using mods to recover each stage. (beware you need to add chute and/or probes to each) -
need a bit info on why you can't get to Mun, and how. - do you run short on dV? - can you fly by? - can you orbit? - can you land? you say Mun so i'm assuming you can at least put a rocket in orbit?

i saw that ksp ma 2.0 was available for download but the zip in github only has what it seems to be source code. how do i compile it, or where do i download an installable version? -
you can indeed just orbit if it requries sub-orbital and orbital, since you'll do a suborbital before actually circularizing.

pilot 0= SAS pilot 1 = prograde/retrograde ... .. ? scientist 0 = reset science/ do science from outside engineer 0 ? all kerbals need astronaut center level 1 to get out of command module research level 1 allows surface samples -
This, i had a couple of bad reentries at first due to badly designed ship, i just fixed the vehicle and used a bit of SAS. If all else fails, use chutes. "i run out of EC" - add more EC "chutes @ 35km is unrealistic" - then use SAS, or airbrakes "the CM is all wrong!" - maybe, maybe not. Just adjust your design to fix it, it's not that hard.

I've noticed that weird behavior with the 2HOT too, the hottest it has reached was 294, which is 20ish C, in space.... Then during reentry and splashdown, the temperature was closer to 0 C. (i'm talking equator water here) so if the Permafrost is warmer than ocean water.... We're in the Twilight Zone

Managed a 44g descent on a rescue mission. I now have Kerbal soup, (well, should have).

talk about exaggeration. I guess the 10 hours i've managed to play in between classes were not really playing, i was just having fun because of magic then. - - - Updated - - - Yep, adding after career was done. Idk if this release means that career is done, it certainly pushes MP much closer. Don't know if mentioned before, but temperature logs behave oddly in space, air and water.... Using C as units instead of K would help a lot too.

Figured as much. oh well, I'll keep mucking around with this career until all my mods update to 1.0 -
I figured that since i "converted" a recent career for 1.0 from .90, that valentina would have to be hired, but i went into the debug menu and she doesn't show up at all, not even in uknowned. Any fix to this?

it can if its submerged in millions of cubic meters of ocean water. The temperature remained the same despite being underwater for a good 5 mins. I should've measured the temperature during re-entry, so i cannot tell if this temperature came from that or not. edit: i'd accept 0 C due to water if the water in question was near the poles but: a) the temperature was like that before splashdown water was near equator, temperature should be nowhere near 0. (should clarify at this point that i'm intrigued at this quirk, not annoyed. Just want to know the reason behind it) edit 2: oddly enough, 271K is freezing point for saltwater (-2C) according to google. -

Dont have the exact location, but very near the equator. -
so i ferried a VIP and rescued a stranded kerbal in one shot, while also taking temperature readings along the way for SCIENCE. i noticed a peculiar value.... near sea level and sumerged the temprature is 271, no units. Assuming it's in kelvin, that's freezing and if it's Celcius, then the planet should host no life.... Also, apparently tourists develop skills too.
