  1. All of Kerbalkind united in an effort to help rocket launches. Thus they all faced east while standing on solid ground. Then they all farted once, which did speed up the rotational speed of the planet a little bit. And now our rockets will need a little less dV to get into orbit.
  2. They said there are some (minor) bugs in the 64-bit version still that wont get fixed before release. Considering with 4GB system ram you arent benefitting from the 64-bit version, I'd just stick with the 32-bit one.
  3. The things one does when getting bored, waiting for the patch... Squad, release 0.24 now! Or these 99 Kerbals are going to get smashed by the MKKM (mass kerbal killing machine)... I'm not kidding!
  4. Yeah the 3m decouplers are buggy. Try this: open the GameData\NASAmission\Parts\Size3Decoupler\part.cfg file delete the following line: //PhysicsSignificance = 1 Make a backup of the file beforehand just in case. Hope this helps...
  5. Does that mean no more Launch Window Planner untill its updated?
  6. It would just have to run a check pretty much like http://ksp.freeiz.com/ cant be that hard imo.
  7. Preparing for 0.24 as well and did a fresh stock re-install (plus minor mods like Kerbal Engineer, Precise Node and Enhanced Navball). Created me a couple lifter systems while still waiting for the patch. A regular heavy lifter that puts 400 tons into orbit... And a vertical SSTO-lifter that can bring 200 tons into LKO without any further expenditures except for fuel. Here its sitting on the launchpad with a tanker as test-payload.
  8. Doing a fresh re-install right now. You guys think 0.24 will break the mods 1.) Kerbal Engineering System 2.) Precise Nodes 3.) Enhanced Navball ?
  9. Based on that video, it looks even easier to make funds / profits than I anticipated already. We all gonna be killionaires soon.
  10. Whatever you do... please no dancing with the governors daughter.
  11. Maybe oil is much less common on Kerbin than on Earth, and thus fuel becomes a lot more expensive. Just trying to find an excuse I guess.
  12. When he did an EVA for science, Bob was... lost in space! And due to a weired clipping-kickoff combo, all his jetpack fuel burned up within a few seconds. So I had to come rescue him.
  13. Well, considering the effort I put into this (about a dozen landings)... this wasnt really worth it. But I guess I have not gone with the most efficient approach. In rerto-perspective, it probably would have been better to land a crapload of empty life support tanks with one ship, another ship with a single processing unit, fill up the tanks over time and then come with a Kerbal and do the study. Lesson learned.
