  1. Designed and launched my first money print.... errrrrr I mean com sattelite. Also tried out the new 5 meter parts of KW Rocketry in sandbox.

  3. Arrived on Duna and started to explore its Biomes.
  4. IIRC funds were just added to actually give contracts a meaning. Not the other way arround. That would imply that yes, you indeed are going to get rich for the sake of getting rich.
  5. That really needs to be changed. You can also have a permanent orbiter, even unmanned one, around celestial bodies to instantly complete any "do science in orbit of..." contracts that pop up for that location.

  10. There are mods for that. No. As said, they were supposed to give 100% on transmit right away.
  11. I payed Minmus a visit, too after my Mun run. Had some trouble with the launcher at first. A single misplaced strut led to a catastrophy and my first real major monetary loss in the campaign. Thankfully Jeb was able to escape in the top stage and put that lander down completly intact next to the launchpad. I think from now on all my launchers will be designed to have a TWR greater than 1.0. Anyway, next attempt went successfully...

Havent read this 40 pages threadnought, so forgive me if this was already posted, but... anyone else having trouble with some scientific transmissions back home not giving the full or any science at all, despite beeing supposed to? Yes, I have mods running, but nothing major, just Kerbal Engineer, Precise Nodes and Enhanced Navball... Thats with Win 64bit if that matters...
  13. Yeah, the bug I was referring to is supposed to be fixed with 0.24. Wether thats true or not, I can not confirm yet (havent used the 3m decouplers at all yet since the patch).

  16. Made it. And returned safely afterwards. To bad I forgot about recovery distance mattering now and landed on the far side of Kerbin.
  17. Going to land with it. Top stage should have plenty of dV. Hope maneuverability will be good enough, but I think it will be all right... Sorry for late reply, went to bed after my post.

  19. Preparing for the first Mün mission in 0.24 career. Quite happy with the fact I am not a billionaire yet and actually have to think a little more about mission concepts. Also, if that Mün run doesnt work out as planned, I'd have wasted more than 50% of my budget with that rocket.
  20. Use something like this to manually pull the debries into a low orbit: Or you could just delete them in the tracking station of the space center (make sure debries are marked visible in the top menu, then delete them on the left).
