    I'm new today, but I like the career mode better than sandbox. I just successfully did my first Kerbin orbit and had enough fuel to return. That spaceship was saved for posterity.

    But my orbit crosses Kerbin at different points. Is it conceivable that I may be "caught" by Kerbin's gravity at some point and make re-entry? Albeit a few years older?

    I'm new. My accidental win was on my 2nd or 3rd ever mission, I managed to leave Kerbin's atmosphere and get to The Mun and get a high sample. And then Kerbin recollected me and I went back home with no fuel. Not as big as others, but it was very cool for me.
