  1. that would be the problem, thanks. It kinda sucks that you have to turn on all the hab modules individually, but since there is a energy requirement it makes sense

  3. Sorry, another stupid question. So I turned on Habitation in the settings for the extra challenge, My test ship with 1 kerbal, a hitchhiker and and a cupola says that it will support kerbal habitation for 4 years, 88 days. However when the ship is launched it says it only has a habitation for 45 days, what is going on?
  4. Ahhh that makes a lot more sense. i tried the same ship out with 6 greenhouses and it worked just fine. thank you both for helping me out. So as long i don't install MKS I won't have to worry about Habitation right?
  5. so i'm trying out this mod for the first time and i can't get it to work, I'm on ksp 1.2 on osx running USI life support, Kerbal Enginner and Kerbal alarm clock. I tried running a wiki example on sandbox and i can't seem to get the greenhouses or habitation to work. Kerbals seem to run through stored supplies then they die, activating the greenhouse does not seem to do anything. Habitation always says it's indefinite but then it runs out anyway. here is an imgur album showing what i'm seeing http://imgur.com/a/aNkEk

  8. this shuttle can quickly carry 6 kerbals to a least a 100kn orbit (i haven't tested higher) using its massive supply of fuel (that makes it fly like a brick when full) and its excessive number of engines (that eat through the excessive amount of fuel) Its the perfect* stylish taxi for you LKO needs.

Hello all made this account like yesterday, I have some questions about the forum.(well 1 question really) I was trying to post my crafts on the spacecraft exchange but none of my posts showed up. can someone explain what I'm doing wrong or what is going wrong. would like some helpful guidelines for posting please thanks! hopefully someone else who is having this problem will learn something useful too.
  11. My first post here! (tell me if i'm doing it right:rolleyes:) This craft was built pre .23.5 so it has no NASA parts but still works fine. The compact lander lands on almost entirely parachutes to save fuel. even then you will need to use the engines a little bit to stop the landing legs from breaking. Otherwise the craft is pretty straight forward to use, has plenty of fuel in all areas. i usually orbit it at ~50K around Duna, the lander should have plenty of extra fuel to rendezvous so don't worry. Note: pictures of the craft reentering aren't included but if the staging works properly (and you remember to ditch the lander around Duna) the engines and fuel should detach and the Hitchhiker storage container will float gently down to the surface.
