  1. Do you sometime want to play KSP with different mod-sets? Stock-Vanilla KSP one day, then RSS KSP the next? Do you want multiple Kebal-system each with their own physics? Kerbin-172 with Stock aerodynamics; Kerbin-7318 with FAR and DR? Does this sound like a set of parallel dimensions or a multi-verse to you? This all applies to me, so I'm in the process of developing a VB launcher script that will allow me swap between different mod-sets, and thought people here might be interested as well. Within a Multiverse folder, I have a folder for each individual mod-set containing the GameData and Saves folders for that set, as well as a shortcut to the Multiverse launcher script. When invoked, the launcher script replaces GameData and Saves in the main KSP game-folder with junctions pointing to those GameData & Saves folders and then launches KSP. (A similar thing could be done under Linux and OSX, but would need different launcher scripts.) Would anyone else be interested in this? I've about got this ready for my own use, but would want some input/advice to prepare this for use by others.
  2. Why do I get a white "stock button" for DR on the "Space Center" scene, which pops up a large(ish) box titled "Deadly Reentry Settings" w/ just three buttons: "Easy", "Normal", "Hard" which don't seem to do anything at all? This is w/ vanilla Win32 KSP 0.25, no other mods installed, and a freshly created career-mode game:
  3. Very nice! A couple thoughts: 1. Why stage numbers in the sequencer? Shouldn't always be just whatever is at the bottom of the staging-stack? 2. I'd consider making the settings and sequencing setup a property of the launch-clamp instance (w/ possible change on the launch pad). It could then be configured in the VAB as part of the rocket construction. 3. Launch seems to be happening one second *after* zero. Do you have each step triggering just before/as the announcement, or after it's completed?
  4. What I meant was: What processing do you do to take normal speech and make it sound "Kerbal"...
  5. Is there, or can you add, a way to make a layer fade in and out over time, say over 30-120 seconds? That would make the aurora effects such as from "Better Atmospheres" much more aesthetic. Static auroras are somehow disturbing to me... :-)
  6. Would it be possible to add position adjustments as well as orientation? I very often would like to tweak the position of various parts I've attached.
  7. The Lazy Dragonfly v1.00 Craft file: Lazy Dragonfly v100.craft The Lazy Dragonfly is a glider built entirely w/ KSP 0.24 stock parts. It has a 'cruising' speed of 3 m/s, a glide slope on the order of 1000:1, and does not require active stabilization (SAS, reactions wheels and control surfaces may all be turned off). When drop-released from a few meters height at the head of the spaceplane runway, the LD will gracefully glide down the runway and reach the coast in about 20 min with plenty of altitude to head out to sea.
