  1. I use both. The deltaV in the VAB/SPH are usually the same. (Unless you have some odd fuel flows.) In atmospheric flight I like KER's surface info and estimated fuel times. I use MJ for most orbital operations. There are many useful tools in there to help with and/or automate maneuvers that a I don't have time to do, or don't fully understand what to do.
  2. Here are some things I would like to see... Numeric roll, pitch, and yaw indicators in flight. An option to auto level your craft to any of the three axis. A stock ILS for the KSC runway. (I know that there are mods for this. I find them completely un-usable or very inaccurate.) The ability to see and change to control orientation for probe cores.
  3. Bug report: The expedition rover is missing the crew hatch popup and crew transfer window. P.S. Thank you for putting out another "I have to add this to my game mod."
  4. I don't know if this has been suggested or not, but there is a need for a generator. I've been using the ones from KF and MKS to keep the lights on at night or in a polar region. I like the idea of having to burn LF or LFO for power (like the KF Advanced Power Unit without the insane amounts of heat). A good reason for having the ISRU at your base outside of refueling the supply craft. I'm loving your mod so far and I can't wait to see what everything looks like when it's finished. Keep up the good work!
  5. I have to start by saying I love this mod. It works better than MJ2’s spaceplane guidance. But I had this happen to me. I had NRE start spamming my log when I docked a rover in a plane. Thinking it might be caused by one of the many other mods I use not playing well with each other or something got messed up in the KSP files. I cleaned out the gamedata folder and pulled a clean install from steam and created a new save. I’m using the current CKAN version 1.11.3. I made a simple rover with a docking port in the sph. I launched then moved it off the runway. I went back to the space center and launch the rover again from the sph. Went over and docked the two rovers together after I opened the PA control window. The NRE will start as soon as the two vehicles dock and continue until I leave the flight scene whether I undock them or not. I can return to the docked craft and everything will be functional. (I’d rather not leave a new craft during flight until I know its controllable.) Here is the NRE I’m getting in the log: NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at PilotAssistant.FlightModules.SurfSAS.Update () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at PilotAssistant.FlightModules.AsstVesselModule.Update () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 Also I noticed that if I have two craft in close proximity to one another that a selection button pops up in the control window. But you can’t enter any numbers into any of the fields or have PA start controlling the craft (assuming it’s a plane) until you leave the physics range of the other craft after you select the correct craft. No errors or warnings in the log. Hopefully I gave you enough info to reproduce the bug and squash it. If need be, I can post the log.
  6. A perfect little launch and escape vehicle for my station. Couple things I did notice though, there is no power flowing though the solar panel and it is drifting off the retrograde in a free descent through the atmosphere with the pica heat shield. I added the CoP and the CoL offsets from the 2.5 stock heat shield to the config and that did help.
  7. The small and medium tracks are over heating and exploding when I try to launch them into orbit. They will stay at the same temperature as the part that they are attached to until about 25000m. From 25000m to 32000m their temperature will rise extremely quickly and explode at about 33000m. You can put them in a service bay, cargo bay, put a fairing around them, or leave them exposed. The result is the same. The only other mod I have installed is MJ. Tested with a clean refresh from Steam.
  8. I don't know where is start with this problem. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I haven't been able to open the edit container window in the SPH/VAB. I can open the edit container window in flight mode thou. I have deleted everything in the KSP folder and reacquired KSP through Steam. All mods were installed via CKAN except Firespitter.dll, Rasterpropmonitor.dll, and MJ2. The FS and RPM.dlls were downloaded from the author's pages. MJ2 is the most recent dev version. The rest are whatever is current on CKAN. Base installed mods: ATM, KAS, Firespitter dll, RPM dll, KSP-AVC, MJ2, Module Manager, Toolbar, USI tools, CRP, Regolith. With the above mods installed, the KAS edit container window works in the SPH/VAB screens. After I install Karbonite or the explorer pack, the KAS edit container window doesn't open and this error ends up in the debug log in the game: ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Argument is out of range. Here is the full error from the output log: C:/BuildAgent/work/d63dfc6385190b60/artifacts/StandalonePlayerGenerated/UnityEngineDebug.cpp Line: 49) ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Argument is out of range.
