  1. I've never really watched the light, it always worked for me with the exception of one or two times in the earlier versions.
  2. Oh, my bad then. So the plan for now is structural girders with landing legs? Unconventional, but Kerbal enough
  3. Wow, that is a lot of mods But the access violation messages always appeared when you ran out of RAM. This is a strange issue indeed...
  4. I have also noticed that the game sometimes ignores my spacebar press, no idea why though.
  5. Oh my... I thought only NASA does these complex gravity assists, but here we are, discussing it like real physicists. Looks like I have to practice my gravity assists
  6. A very interesting challenge, though I'm not really on speaking terms with Laythe so I don't know if I'll be doing it
  7. My thoughts as well, but playing without FAR or Deadly Reentry just... isn't it.
  8. Yeah, setting records on page numbers... oh well. Maybe the 0.25 update will surpass it
  9. Well, if you think you have too much funds then you can always do off-mission launches with goofy inventions, or space stations
  10. Along with Scott Manley, HOC Gaming did a whole Duna mission tutorial a while back, in 0.18 I think.
  11. Yep, it's safer that way, you never know with torrents. But you gotta admit, their servers always have a meltdown in these updating times. Like in the movies about Christmas sales, when people are on the glass waiting for the store to open, and when it finally does the customers tare down the store.
  12. Oh, darn, I thought Scott Manley said everything about the update in his videos, so I just assumed it would say the same stuff I heard, but nope.
  13. Have you thought about RCS for Bop and Pol? It's light and cheap. If you're not overcomplicating the design of the probe it should be sufficient to land slowly and safely.
  14. Were the efficiency rebalances mentioned in the changelog? I don't recall seeing that, but it'll be fun to see nontheless
  15. Woo-hoo! Finally. The hype train is always lots of fun, but this is definitely better
  16. You can actually see in the second picture in the shadow on the VAB the parts falling off... brilliant!
  17. Well I landed on every celestial body in the Kerbol system, mostly with probes. Made countless space stations, space shuttles, also tried RSS. And I always play with FAR, Deadly Reentry and Kerbal Engineer.
  18. Wow, hahah, explosions do tend to happen in those cases. Never happened to me, strangely enough.
  19. One other problem with the LV-N (aside from it's mass and low thrust) is it's size. It's fairly big to put it in a stack, I usually use two and put them radially. That can of course create problems if you have FAR, but all in all: it's the best engine for interplanetary missions.
  20. There's one thing that goes beyond KSP: -Observe, experiment, test until you get satisfiable results, then improve upon them.
  21. Some time ago I made a reusable CSM that could go around the whole Kerbol system, or so i thought... I got to Eeloo, my lander landed without a problem and returned, then I realized I had no fuel left in the CSM because I didn't include the mass of the lander in the delta V calculator.
  22. Hi there everyone, I've been playing KSP for about a year now and now I decided to join the forum, so yeah... hi
