  1. My biggest KSP sin? I'm still playing the .90 version. My work schedule changed and I took a break from the game for a while, and now I'm pretty sure I don't want to mess around learning new aero and worrying about heating and such, at least until v1.1 comes out.
  2. This old attempt at a Mun Colony.... And this almost-successful landing on Tylo.
  3. Poorly. I expect that to get worse when I finally start playing 1.0 - haven't had the time for it yet.
  4. My ships are simply named - where they're going and what they're doing when they get there. Eve Colony Attempt Four went very well, and soon morphed into Eve Colony Alpha. Tylo Lander Attempt Seventeen, however... not so good. Eighteen's on the drawing board.
  5. Deutherius has got it. I was really hoping one of my riddles might make it 24 hours this time. This was the first one I wrote all by myself - what did you think?
  6. Why don't they let trombone players on the playground? They don't know how to use the slide, and they sure as heck can't swing. How do you get a guitar player to stop playing? Put a piece of music in front of him.
  7. No to vexx32 or cantab.
  8. I'm not sure that I should give such a hint right away....
  9. Restarting, except for maybe a craft or two along the way.
  10. Totally vanilla, since Day One. I am looking at introducing some mods, once I upgrade my PC, though.
  11. I hope everyone's okay with my keeping the thread alive. Here goes: My weapon of choice; a long slender staff, That I used to vanquish my foes. When they were beaten, I earned treasures fine By continuing to demonstrate what I know. And though my days in the arena are past, My exploits stand the test of time. And now I help others develop their talents, Perhaps theirs will one day surpass mine.
  12. My grade-school daughter, after watching yet another of my rockets explode: "Well, that didn't work."
  13. For me, it's still landings. I have sent stuff everywhere, only to tip over the lander and screw up whatever outpost contract I'm working on. I know I should redesign my landers, but I hate launching those wide, clunky looking things on top of nice pointy-looking rockets. I'm just weird that way.
  14. Your mobile phone? I'm sure that was guessed already somewhere back there.
  15. I thought he had it. This is not even a riddle, anymore - it's a futile attempt at long-distance telepathy. Let me know when someone evolves that....
  16. Television. After that I give up.
  17. Is it the virtual world?
  18. Or the option, "As long as the zarking thing doesn't blow up, it's all good."
  19. I have been able to lucid dream for at least the last several years, maybe even more. I don't keep a log so I don't know how often my lucid dreams occur, but I remember my dreams almost every night. They run the gamut from scary and/or disturbing to pleasant or downright joyful. For me, it seems that one of two things happens when I lucid dream. Either my dream is a "rerun," like Technical Ben mentioned, and I can remember that it's a rerun and that alerts me that I'm dreaming, or something about the situation is too out of place, and again, I realize that I have to be dreaming. (But sometimes I dream really oddball stuff and only realize it was a dream after I wake up.) One thing I've done on more than one occasion when I realize I'm dreaming is to make my dream-self start flying, just because I know I can. Sometimes I drift along slowly like an astronaut in zero-g, and other times I've been able to really get moving. In one dream I think I went supersonic, as I watched my home town, then the farm fields below me, flash by in an instant. If I don't like where a dream has been going, flying away from the situation gives me a "reset," most of the time, anyway. There's a lot that you can do in your dream when you know it's just a dream. Myself, I wish I could "unstick" myself from my dreams every night.
  20. Thank you for posting those images - the first one helps me make sense of it all.
  21. Now I'd love to see how Kerbin's sun compares to the planets.
