  1. ok, admittedly, i was wrong on that part. there are no longer any ads. when i last went on there, it was prob about 9 months ago. they have since then removed the ads, and so i stand corrected. but i do think that it was very nice of the person to run KS as long as he did, with no help.
  2. i would just like to state my opinion of curse and thank SirCmpwn. granted, while curse is a large website and has many users, it has many ads. this is very annoying for people with slow internet, and can make downloading a pain. also, sometimes it won't accept an upload, and i believe that is the main reason that KS was bigger and more popular than curse. it is hard to upload onto curse, and sometimes hard to download. and i would like to thank SirCmpwn for the time and effort that he put into KS. i understand his reasons for leaving the job, and thank him for the time that he did put into the website to make it great while it lasted. thank you for taking your time to read this, Jaddbo

  6. i got a friend of mine vaos (link) who has a yt channel, but his computer is down, so he can't fill it out. how long will this be open or can he submit a late entry due to technical difficultys?
  7. i just wanted to say, you might want to make it a bit more clear. it sounds like a fun challenge, but it needs some more parameters and guidelines along with some general clarification.
  8. this was a while ago, and not the 2v2, but i tested one of my crafts aganst 3 AIs. thinking about doing a craft that can go against 5+ later on video got messed up in editing tho
  9. my first craft was a bunch on parts stuck together in some kind of a ledgible order. it was called awesome. i gave up on it after some launches, then found that all it needed was some struts and flying skills, and a few other tweaks. afterwards, the rocket had a 100% sucsess rate (only for mechanical failures) and took me to the mun over 20 times. but this was in the demo.
  10. i was doing the jool 5 challenge, and i came across bug. i had it before, assumed it was a corrupted file, but then the game file got messed up in the editor, so i re-installed and re built the craft from scratch. then it did the same thing. the only mods that i have installed are kerbal engineer, and hyperedit. last time i also had time control, but i uninstalled it halfway through the process. -jaddbo
  11. hey i just wanted to let you know of a few issues. when i get a new plane contract, the planes load nose-first, and with the nose into the ground. also, while i was playing, the game crashed and when i reloaded, it gave me this error message and said to notify you: Exception occured while loading contract parameter 'TargetDestroyed' in contract 'terr-17': System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at ContractConfigurator.Parameters.TargetDestroyed.CreateDelegates () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ContractConfigurator.Parameters.TargetDestroyed.OnParameterLoad (.ConfigNode node) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ContractConfigurator.Parameters.ContractConfiguratorParameter.OnLoad (.ConfigNode node) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 other than that, i do not think i have thusfar found anything else related to your mod. best of luck with it! keep up the great work! also good luck on your exams, and make them a priority, not the mod.

  16. i was wondering if someone could make a jet with a REAL afterburner. i do not know how to do this, but i know someone can! i was thinking if you used something like the file for the rapier jet, but both modes use intake air and LF. one mode would be like a jet, with normal thrust and a jet exhaust, and the other one would have a better exhaust, higher thrust, and less fuel efficiency. and also, with the new aero, you could really make something awesome! maybe the exhaust would be something like the one on the j58 engines on the sr71 blackbird. a lot of mods have afterburners (hot rockets, bac9 aero, just to name a few) but none of the afterbuners work like they should. they are just an effect. photos. without the afterburner: http://www.wvi.com/~sr71webmaster/sr71fi~1.jpg with afterburner on: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/60/J58_AfterburnerT.jpeg i do think that it is possible to do this, and if you have found something similar, or have made this, or something similar, please send me a PM or reply to this thread. -jaddbo
  17. you rang? ah yes here i am! the rocket cost 8419, and a -20% discount for returning him alive=6735.2 kerbal dolars. here are the screenshots. I ended up sending jeb down without the craft, but it turned out that the craft had the fuel for it. But jeb is a bad-s (read my sig ), so yea.   18. i would suggest that you stop using mechjeb for everything and learn you skills. i do not mean to be harsh, but they do need to be developed, and i was SO bad at eva when i started it was not even funny. to practice docking, use the sr. docking ports, they are the easiest.
  19. might want to clarify, 1 is the absolute minimum amount of rocket launches possible in ksp, might want to fix. also, you should get bonus points if it is an ssto. just some suggestions.
