I tried looking for this on the forums but couldn't find a thread that explained the process of converting craft files to 3D models. Can someone point me in that direction? JR

I simply build ships with everything on board and take it with me everywhere I go. It's not the most efficient way to do it but it's a lot of fun flying to and landing on different moons and planets. I call this one Littleman All KSP images have been moved here. JR

My recommendation is that you start with Moho and then head out to Eeloo. They're actually on a similar orbital inclination which makes the transfer fairly easy. Bring lots of Xenon. JR

Wow! There's a slight anomaly in that space station. I'm sure this GIF was captured right before the sudden uncontrolled dis-assembly event. Although... those oscillations are somehow, hypnotic. JR

I can see where you might get that, but actually the design is loosly based on the Battle Cruiser from StarCraft. And yes it is designed to do the grand tour. JR

I just liked the way they look. It's all about style for me, maybe when I redesign it I may use some bigger gear - as long as it looks cool. JR

It's funny, nobody asked how I constructed that Eve base with multiple modules docked together on the surface - Eve is notorious for not being able to land things in a specific location. BTW I had a second base that I was going to build but after the first one... well you know what happened. JR

Sweet Ride! I like how you have to use launch clamps to "hold it back" before takeoff because it's such BEAST! JR

Put it this way; I got into the habit of quicksaving all the time. And I would log off the game after playing for an hour or so partly for my own sanity. JR

Laythe is an Earth-like planet covered in ocean (or one big lake). So I look at it as being a lake-earth, and pronounce it like Earth with a Lay on the front. Earth Laythe JR

This was done before in a previous version of KSP. I'm not sure it could be done now - I'm certainly not going to try again. There are lots of better things to do in this version of the game. JR

Yeah, too many craft flying areobraking and requiring maneuvers at the same time is way more work than it's worth. It's actually surprising how spread out the flights get - they all left Kerbin at pretty much the same time but variations in the orbit caused them to arrive at much different times and even angles of entry for the Eve SOI. I did it and trust me, it's better to build your colonies one flight at a time. Build a kick ass space station, and base and all of that, just do it in stages that's my recommendation. I checked the persistent.sfs and it was at just over 9Mb. The save was for Eve only, all other flights were deleted. JR
