You should see the results without them -
I can, but I still need to work for the next 8 hours, so that'll be later tonight If you want to check out a reference plane you cab check my Kerbal-x in my signature The fatboy 3+ is a jumbo VSTOL and the Gigantor is a super jumbo that flies pretty much like a normal jumbo and has a very reasonable part count because I used some tweakscale on it (not sure about tweakscale use on the Fatboy)

You will need to move your landing gear forward, tilt your wings back a couple degrees (part angle display mod works great for this bit!) and maybe you're a bit underpowered, but do the above first and you'll find out soon enough. Let's just say that a plane that needs the gap at the end can't serve a great many airports and would therefore not be very interesting for KEA to purchase while there are competitors that don't need the gap at the end. I figured this kinda stuff out over time and am now able to make a superjumbo VSTOL, only thing I cpuldn't manage was landing on the VAB with it, because it's too long. But a better pilot might

Yes, precisely. It's a matter of 'too many parts to do physics on' I've seen it before and I'm sure I'll see it again -

Don't know about that, but it meant 3 hours of work down the drain and redoing a lot... currently at the point just before launching SLV2 and 3 towards Duna, one is on it's way and got to crew up the other and send it right after it -

The drilling is to collect ore for the algae production and water to cover the LS self reliance gap and makes this little thing completely stand alone. It's a bit unstable though, so I've built a MK2 that's more stable. I was actualy building a second one of the tugs, but last night I considered I might not even need that, which would allow me to put an additional 6 kerbals on the surface during the second window. But versatility wise a second tug might be useful. So I'm gonna see if I can manage with a single tug and that same hard return burn after delivery. If that works on the second window I might score above 250K if all goes well (Jep, that'll work!) -

I couldn't stop myself last weekend, turns out that in total disregard of my previous claim to need to stop this particular challenge, it's all I want to maintain and so, I'm cutting everything else. Here's video for my attempt: SLV 1 -

Congratulations! I'll hold out on the badge untill @Death Engineering confirms the score It's nice to see that you opted for a different approach with the LS containers instead of greenhouses etc. As you said earlier it provides a sobering perspective on LS needs as well as a large garbage dump for the spent containers, which is an interesting lesson in regards to real life mars exploration -

How did you make the screenshot with all the kerbal faces like that? I like the look of that (and your base looks cool as well btw) -

Congratulations Death Engineering! I will go sit down at my PC tonight and prepare a shiny badge with these values for your proud enjoyment! Well done -
We've been pretty open so far, but I'm unsure the sheet is protected against rogue editing, so I can't post it here. Because there was a claim that queue was seen by someone I thought this person has access, but your reference to the list on the OP clarifies that you don't. You'll have to ask @CrazyJebGuy
