  1. Well this looks amazing! I have a question though: are there any plans to add the black hole at the center of the Galaxy? After all it's an important destination in Elite Dangerous for example...
  2. Thanks again for the much appreciated help. I also liked the warehouse comparison
  3. Ok, thank you. So the best option would be to buy a modern GPU that is supported by non-proprietary drivers I think?
  4. I don't know if you saw my last message. So my GPU is an AMD Radeon HD 5800 with 1Gb of RAM. I also tried to install fglrx, but I didn't notice any change.
  5. My GPU is an AMD Radeon HD 5800, the dedicated memory is 1Gb
  6. So here it is, I hope it's the correct log: http://pastebin.com/JeijcNiH
  7. Hi everyone! I have tried to run KSP (from the .zip) in Debian Wheezy 64 bits. No mods are installed. The game is very slow at each step, until it completely freezes when going from VAB to the launch pad. I have already installed the firmwares to obtain 3D acceleration (Minecraft runs fine for example). Can someone help me? Thank you :-)
  8. Good points in my opinion. And that's where an open system really shines, someone can do a fork with resource recycling implemented. Of courses, too many forks can also be a problem.
  9. Hi everyone, First of all, I really congratulate the creators for the idea of a creative-commons resources system! But I want to do some constructive criticism. While I like the idea of an infinite resource, I think it should be infinite by recycling, not by fixed concentrations in hot spots. It is a little too easy to have non-depletable hot spots I think. But the worst problem is that it conveys the wrong message. I know its only a game, but as humans we really will face now the problem of finite resources. In a game somewhat educational like KSP, it is important to stress that resources are finite and must be recycled. I have thought of possible ways to implement this, but first it is probably better to discuss the basic idea.
