It was my first Mun mission,let alone first week in KSP.I was in low munar orbit and started my descent,everything was pretty good until the landing.One:I skip the surface horizontally and one landing gear is broken off.Two:I had to fly over to find a new spot because there was nothing flat to land on.Then gravity hit me and RIP Jeb.

Thank you BlkBltChemie, solved my problem.Fn+Alt+f12 worked.

Yeah I'm on a laptop,but it does not work with the fn keys,i will check the settings cfg

I have tried alt+f12(I'm on windows),but its not working. For me fn key,works as mod key,but when I use that it changes the Aerodynamic Overlay to on or off.

What was the problem,I am having trouble.

How would you open the debug(cheat) menu,need to test a craft in no gravity without having to go into space.

Thanks for the reply,but the alt key doesnt do anything.The game is programmed to use that but on my Lenovo Ideapad S400 touch,the alt doesnt work,it only activates the functions,in my case the brightness of teh screen.If I try to change the key to something like Fn it will not work and revert to the alt key.

^True,especially since there are no other space simulators that have Jebediah the Bad-S.

I love the ability to create almost anything,but still test it to the physics.I love those YES! moments when you get a craft to work.I love playing in career mode with everything unlocked so I can do whatever but still get science and stuff(because why else go into space)!

I have a windows laptop.When I hold Alt+F12 it wont open.After trying to change it to the function key it wont work.To change it I changed LeftAlt to Fn.Sometimes the key would also reset in the settings when I re opened the game.Any help? Thanks -Polar Explorer

Actually I have a laptop!(Very fast Windows 8 though:3)And I think I tried Fn idk.

Well I just came back due to the new release!The thing is though when I try to open the debug menu using alt+f12 it changes my brightness( i have a windows 8 computer).I tried using the Fn key because it had the same color of f12(xD)but had no luck...I usually like to go into career mode to max out my science,etc so I can still collect samples and stuff while having everything I want...Thanks!

I'm back to KSP and what I have in store is a fun challenge to make an APC that can optionally be amphibious for an extra challenge.**The APCs in water must be jet powered**APC's will be judged on creativity,weapons(stock-only!),design,and usefulness.In this challenge others judge you're craft and I will then based on their grading i will put it on the leader board.Now.Positions will shift depending on when it is made.The grading is on a 1-10 scale for each category(1-10 points).If you're APC happens to be lacking the graders will say it and say how many points shall be taken away.I want to have at least 2 grades for each APC before I put it on the leader board.My entry will be up soon. Rules: No F12 cheats. Can have Kerbal Koundries mod but thats it. Must have at least 2 wheels on each side. Picture of it on runway at speed and in water(optional) Jet powered in water. Cool:cool: Must have at least 3 stock missles one guided and 2 not. Leader Board 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. ... Finally this challenge is for FUN.Make sure to have it or else.

You win by dropping the rovers in seperate missions in the shortest time.Rasip I mean what you said.The carrier aircraft doesnt have to survive.And i mean never run out of electricity by RTGs.Some rovers need more than one.

Welcome to the super rover drop extravagansa!This is a race to drop a rover onto the mun,the island runway,the KSC,and as a bonus the mountains west of the KSC in the shortest time. Rules The rover must carry at least one kerbal,a scientific instrument,must be capable of never running out of electricity,and has to be able to be (obviously) para dropped. You can use as many mods as you like except for Mechjeb and any cheaty mods.Please don't be cheeky. Parachutes are alowed. No debug menu,infigliders,kraken drives,ect. No rockets except for the mun para drop. BTW when I me a mun para drop I mean you drop the rover out of a craft and land it.Also this challenge is meant to be for not really experienced players. Screenshots of your full craft,rover and rover at each site.If the atmospheric craft(including rover) are the same no need to do extra screenshots. Please tell me if anything is missing:). Do the ksc biomes count there are many in all parts of the labs,vab,flag pole,ect.

Can I use mods in my save but not the craft (I have no physics changing mods only part mods)

You should fly a plane over the mountain and paradrop the rover.

People skipped my challenge but the rocketeer and zipmafia were the only ones to do it nice boat though;)
