Well this job is huge.... at least its easy to pull apart like this.. the entire plane is essentially 5 modular pieces now. This is the 11th re build... 11 generations of white lightning lol... -

All drag can be overcome with more power, Just slap an extra few engines on what ever design and itell work, thats the only reason Cronus can take 80 tons to orbit. Admitted Cronus does have i think 60 engines to do that, 45 of which are air breathers. -

Have not played KSP for a while so i decided to start re building white lightning, Nearly there, Im not sure if i want to add the extra engines and fuel... its already 95 tons for a relatively small plane lol. Flies well at least, i do not think i have ever built a plane that handles as good as this does in the upper atmosphere, just about impossible to lose control of it. Hmmm not good enough. Makes it to HKO would like to see that at 2 million km HKO though. going to have to change the fuel and engine set up. -

Hmm this gives me hope for building a new turbo prop, i was only in the testing stages of this in 0.90 heck i had not even tried to make it fly i only just had the "MOAR POWAA" thing down, the internals just clip through the exterior on it in when you load it in 1.0.2 but by the looks of it i could use the small gear instead of the old gear and it should work, time for testing. I still love how fast that thing spins... the game cant keep up lol... -

No worries man i will later, did not expect SoD to be in on the copyright lol Lotsa parts, the more parts the more the heat is distributed throughout the craft should be right to do 900m/s reliably without going boom at sea level, first things to go boom are normally air intakes btw, i still have no idea how to stop them being first lol.

One of my toys, figured i would share. Titan Interceptor mk1 Description: Capable of mach 4 at any altitude this jet is designed to do one thing well and that is go fast, it has 4-10g's of acceleration depending on the altitude and is built with internal strengthening that allows 30+g turns, and before you ask yes it does space with only liquid fuel, heck it actually carries 2 oxidizer tanks you could probably orbit the bugger. well it can withstand 900ish without going boom, the challenge is making it not break when turning haha, turn too hard and it snaps at those speeds -

10 turbo jets and 5 rapiers basically what i usually use minus the aero spikes but i doubled the PWR seen as its a jet not an SSTO, lets it do 1100m/s at sea level lol, before it explodes anywho -

I decided to build a new jet, i think it might even be too powerful... It hits mach 1 before it hits the end of the runway... 6+ g's of acceleration... All i know is i want more power because reasons... idk do people want something like this? i tend to keep things like this to myself otherwise. -

Thunder Storm Thunder Storm ASATO Description: Thunder Thunder is a heavy lifter capable of lifting craft up to 90 tons into LKO, It burns fuel evenly across the board, it is extremely stable in atmospheric flight and the design is made to work like clock work with its baby, Storm. Description: Storm Storm is an Interplanetary space plane with VTOL capabilities which has a choice of 3 propellants once in space, LFO for fast burns, spare LF for nuclear burning and Xenon gas for emergency situations (when you run out of the good juice basically), Boasting over 10,000m/s of delta V to play around with once in orbit what more could you ask for? Action groups: Storm: 1: Toggle Nuke 2: Toggle aero spikes 3: Toggle Dawn electric engines 4: Toggle VTOL engines 5: Toggle solar arrays Thunder: 6: Toggle turbo jets 7: Toggle rapiers 8: Toggle rapier engine mode 9: Toggle aero spikes 10 : Toggle landing engines Flight instructions: First things first, Never use time warp under thrust and never put the brakes on while on the runway under thrust. On launch pitch up to +40 degree and climb until 10km, at 10km bring the pitch down to +10 degree and gain speed until 1000m/s, at 1000m/s bring the pitch up to +25 degree and continue until at 20km. At 20km hit action group 9 to toggle aero spikes, at 22km hit action group 8 to toggle rapier engine mode and at 26km hit action group 6 to turn off turbo jets, from here continue to orbit and adjust pitch as needed. Good luck and have fun. Orbital flight instructions: Once in orbit you will need to take control of Storm, decouple it and activate fuel flow on all the tanks (including wings) and make sure to look inside the craft so you can activate the 6 internal fuel tanks. Sorry but for some reason you can not disable fuel flow between Thunder and storm so it was the only option. I do kinda have beef with the new version loving huge craft, you have to make craft large if you want performance which is fine because i love large craft but most people don't have great PC's, i feel sorry for them missing out on a lot of the game because of it. This thing for an example, to get that 5000m/s of delta V once in a 100km orbit it takes well... look at the part count and mass.
