Wolfwood replied to TriggerAu's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Cancel that. I just re-downloaded from another site and installed it. Its running now. My guess is the GitHub download is bad. The one from SpaceDock works tho. -

[1.12.x] Kerbal Alarm Clock v3.13.0.0 (April 10)
Wolfwood replied to TriggerAu's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm having trouble with this. I poking my head back in this game and got a few mods i wanted to play with working... except this one. Nothing shows up. No icons or anything, as if it didnt load. I checked and all the fires are in the game data folder, so not sure what is up. I also made sure i have toolbar installed. Any ideas? Think i figured it out. It seems Toolbar 1.7.13 is not with KSP 1.2.2 so ill have to wait for that to get updated. -
Nope, you cannot 'warp to next maneuver' while on in the tracking station. Currently, you have to be actively 'flying' the vessel you want to do that with, which means your warp speed might be limited.

Not sure if this has been suggested yet (did a quick search didn't see it), but i would be handy to have the ability to warp to the next maneuver node (of the selected ship) from within the tracking station, thus taking advantage of faster time warp (ie not limited by terrain height). I'm sure there are mods that can do this already, but seems like it should be in stock.

Does anyone actually use the first level runway?
Wolfwood replied to Prasiatko's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I was just thinking this the other day. There is no reason that the ground around KSP shouldn't be more uneven, and the level 1 runway flattened. Keep it dirt, and have less friction than grass. This also brings up another issue with runways. Weight. Im of the opinion that runways should have more weight restriction (lvls 1 & 2) than the launch pad. It seems logical that the launch pad can handle more weight than the runway. Why is this important? Well im not sure if anyone else does it, but i did see Scott Manley focus on upgrading the runway/sph. This allowed him to build rockets and planes while only needing to upgrade one facility. Which kinda feels like an exploit against the spirit of the game (tho i dont knock him for going that route). -
Ahhh.. THAT's why there is still an option for it in the posting but it doesnt work. Gotcha. I just didnt want to create a file sharing account on a site, just to post a bug report or two. Ill start using the tracker. Thankx

As the topic states, how can i add files to these posts for bug/crash reporting purposes? (if its even possible).

[old thread] Trajectories : atmospheric predictions
Wolfwood replied to Youen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This has likely been asked before but, is it possible to use this with the maneuver planner, or does it still only work with the current trajectory? -
Crashed when loading plane
Wolfwood replied to Wolfwood's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Other programs still sit in memory though and some can actually cause instability in KSP, such as any program that hooks into memory to monitor the activity of other programs, the most recent example is PrecisionX, a graphics card monitoring and tweak application. Blaze has memory hooks loaded, I know this because a hook module was in your taskmanagers process list, and this list is written to your log when KSP crashes like this, which is why I specifically mentioned Blaze, here it is. I have not come across Blaze before so I don't know yet if it is a problem or not, but it is a suspect, so if you continue to have this issue I suggest you shut down Blaze fully, and possibly other programs as well which you don't need running.
Eh well, i dont end up using that program anyway so i just shut it down and told it to no longer load when windows starts. If i dont crash again that may have been the issue. Or it may have just been flat out random, who knows. Thanks for the advice. I did play again last night, did a few contracts without issues (well, game stability issues anyway :P ) and it ran without incident (with blaze shut down). -
Crashed when loading plane
Wolfwood replied to Wolfwood's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
I have not attempted to repeat the crash so i dont know yet. No overclocking happening. My normal background process are using ~ 10% of my cpu so i doubt it is interfering with it. Blaze wasn't an active program, just something running in the task-bar for detection. Everything else is related to the hardware in my machine (motherboard/video card support software). -

KSP version: Current 1.0.5 though Steam on Windows 7 64-bit A detailed explanation of what happened and what you were trying to accomplish: From a flight, i attempted to revert to space plane hanger A screenshot of your craft or any relevant screens : Crashed to desktop, no screen shots available. A .craft file or save files if relevant: I was flying the Stock "Satellite launcher" space plane. A detailed list of system specifications: Intel i5 cpu (2500k), 16 gig of ram, Radeon HD 6950 GPU Are you running a clean installation, or have you updated and some of your persistence or craft files might be older versions, if so which version(s): Bone stock clean version from Steam (1.0.5) The ouput_log.txt or player.log file KSP creates when it launches and, if applicable, the crash log KSP has generated when the program crashed : Far to big to paste in here. So i uploaded it separately. -
What you can do (what i do) is when i start a game, i make a copy of KSP from steam into another location, then play from that. This allows me to mod it out independently from the steam 'core' copy, so i can troubleshoot if needed, as well as keep it from being updated, and possibly breaking mods (or my save game). Only thing you really lose is steam tracking how many hours you play, but do you really want everyone to know that anyway? lol.

[1.3.1] Ferram Aerospace Research: v0.15.9.1 "Liepmann" 4/2/18
Wolfwood replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Dumb question im sure, but i wanted to make sure the FAQ was up to date. With 1.0.4 its supposedly fixed the aerodynamic issues. I know pre 1.0 FAR added aerodynamic effects onto the craft and affected it. But with 1.0+, its suppose to add that into stock. Does FAR still improve over that in the way the FAQ states?- 14,073 replies
