  1. OK, so, you were helping me out several months ago, but then real life caught up[ with me. I apologize for vanishing into thin air. I appreciate the help you had given me up to that point. In short, you helped me realize that I had my software improperly installed. To answer your question above: I'm wanting to set up a refining station in orbit of Kerban, Eve, and Jool, and use atmosphere skimmers to collect Karbonite to be delivered to the refinery. The current setup seems to require too much attention, too many passes to be successful. I'm also working on a Karbonite floater, to splash down in the oceans of Lathe, but to get from there back to Jool orbit with a full tank seems nearly impossible. My quest continues. EDIT: Apparently, the out-atmo scoop works much better. I can simply set it in an orbit, and leave it to it's own devices. Since Jool's atmo has a height of 138K, the scoop should be effective anywhere from 138K to 151K, right? As an added bonus, it seems to work even when the swooper isn't the active ship. Damn, you made a good mod.
  2. In fact, I had ORS 0.1.1, and no version of CRP at all. I have updated the Karbonite mod, installed CRP, and installed an updated ORS in my main folder, not in USI. Upon launch, the same vehicle pictured above produced 0.46 units of Karbonite, so I suppose it works. My satilite swooper, however, dosn't collect any Karbonite an a pass that drops to 55,000 km. So, it WORKS, it just doesn't meet my needs. Thanks for your help!
  3. Please see linked: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=313295824 - four scoops, each directly attached to a Karbonite tank. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=313295474 - status of scoops. I launched to orbit from ground level, and I made several low-orbit passes, one dropping to 60,000 KM, one dropping to 55,000 KM. In all cases, passing through atmosphere was done in real time, and I gathered zero units of Karbonite. Also, I have no idea how I linked to the non-english version of steam.
  4. Yes, I was able to extract Kethane from Minimus with no trouble. Well, except for the bit where, in the middle of transfering Karbonite from the lander to the orbital station, the lander spontaneously reverted to kit format. I don't think that's a problem with the drill, though.
  5. OK, I can't seem to get Karbonite Low-Altitude Scoops to work. I'm trying to set up a refuling station in orbit of Kerban that collects Karbonite by way of a separate low-flying ship. This collecter does not have a detector attatched to it, but it has 4 1.5m low-altitude scoops suitable for use in atmosphere. Before launch, I deployed the extractor, activated the scoop, and changed the collected material to Karbonite. During the ascent to orbit, I collected exactly 0 units of Karbonite. Given this, I suspect that the scoop isn't working properly, or that I am not using it properly. Can anyone give me any advice? I really want this to work.
